Price action describes the characteristics of a security’s price movements. This movement is quite often analyzed with respect to price changes in the recent past. In simple terms, price action is a trading technique that allows a trader to read the market and make subjective trading decisions based on the recent and actual price movements, rather than relying solely on technical indicators.
The only people who know where the market is heading are institutions. They are the ones who make the market move and our job as retail traders is to follow their footsteps and get the piece of their movement. As price action traders we need to find the most profitable ways to enter trades. The highest probability setups are 2nd entries, its variations and confirmations setups at the key entry points.

The very beautiful thing is to hear your confidence at your voice just after you have placed the trade. It means im ny opinion the most importanat thing- that you have passed completely the emotions part of your trading.. My heart is still beating faster after placing a trade 😅

in 4 years, i tried a lot of ways to be consistant on markets, i meet you since the beggining of thiss chennel, but i was kinda new on markets. I Want to Say, No one, teach like you. price action is very technical, we need time do absorv all the stuff, but, for me, its the only method that can be someone profitble on markets. Thanks for the analysis. Around 10:30 where there was a LH after a 2ES which you didn't take, you didn't short after that LH. Was it because the LH doji was followed by a bull bar?

Thanks Thomas! Were you worried about bearish bias before taking that FBO? The previous move up didn't make it to the top of the range is a little scary for the FBO?

The entire day was a trading day, healthy. This was just very tiny sign of bearish bias. Bearish imbalance needs to have more lower highs and consistency. Just like later on where so many pushes failed to reach the resistance. So it was still part of healthy trading range.

Thomas - enjoy your analysis. I was wondering about the 2EL failure just before your trade (11:40). A new high had been established beforehand and there was a down trend with a break. Just wondering why that was not considered a valid entry? (I did take take that entry - thus the interest)

I don't really know what setup are you talking about. I think you are referring to LH where the downtrend is breaking and about to get new low. Problem is the wider downtrend was not really easy to trust with confidence at the time.

it was the one that is 4 bars before the trade Thomas took - could be considered a 2EL failure or maybe a lower high. It took place at 11:40 on Thomas' chart, 12:40 EST. It had an equal high to the bar beside it, so it wasn't an ideal setup, but I thought it might be seen as a good entry.

Prices moved down too far now, you want to see F2EL ideally after LH. See how prices made a new low inside the downtrend, you would instead count that F2EL as a 1ES, next time that F2EL may not workout, in this case that pullback does resemble a 2 legged pullback, that may have given your entry extra credence. The true F2EL happened above EMA and it was congested due to dojis, the entry you are referring to technically is a 1ES/LH. Hope that made sense.
