With his unnecessary views about eco politics and then driving this old car? No thanks. He was a world class driver, that's it. Everything afterwards was unnecessary to the sport and will be if he gets a position of power.
That sound, that helmet, and that outstanding car. And yet, closer to the end of the lap I was literally fast forwarding only to listen to Seb's remarks. And boy he did not disappoint. Seb was the person to honor them, can't think of anyone better for this task. Thank you, sir.
Vettel fullfiled what Senna had planned for a victory in Imola 1994: Waving an Austrian flag after the race. To see this happening with the yellow helmet, in a Senna driven car, gave me goosebumps.
Para nós Brasileiros, enfim esse grande prêmio de imola acabou, ainda bem q Vettel, fez essa homenagem linda, p o maior de todos os tempos Sena é talento e inspiração pura no seu estado maior!😢👍🤝🙏
@@andreisg4066I wish I could be able to meet and thank Seb myself but yeah, that was nice celebration for the sport unlike the cringefest we get in USA like Las Vegas last year for example
I cried instantly at the first shot of the flag. Seb, with the senna design on his helmet, got to do the lap that Ayrton planned to do at the end of that fateful race. That hit me way harder than I wanted it to 😂
@@jaylowlp6181 thanks, i didn’t know that! But not surprised. Seb is so cool. I wish he would have won a title with ferrari, he did so well against Hamilton considering how inferior his car was.
I was there in Ímola today... It was incredible!!! I'm Brazilian and to us, Senna is bigger than a Champion, he is a Hero!! Amazing and well deserved homage !!!
Sebastian Vettel brought tears to millions of people in Brazil and around the world with this gesture of respect and tribute to Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzemberg. Thank you very much Vettel.
This is another of the coolest things I've ever seen from Seb. And the fact they brought the Brazilian but also the Austrian flag was so nice and heartbreaking. Respect to Seb, to Roland and Ayrton. Those three have become truly icons on history of F1.
this was absolutely amazing! Seb, you are amazing! The Austrian flag was a very special touch... few people know that Ayrton had an Austrian flag in his car that he was going to wave when the race finished in 94... Seb made it happen today. Beyond words how beautiful Seb made this weekend's tributes to Ayrton and Roland
@@Ganiscol True, but the sound is a part of the experience. Imagine a classic warbird fitted with a whisper quiet electric motor instead of a Rolls Royce V12. Even if they could make it so that the electric version performs the same or better than the ICE version, it would still not feel (sound) right.
Very touching moment , what a tribute to both drivers from that terrible weekend , I still remember it like it was yesterday. Love the sound of those cars , it’s a shame Murray Walker isn’t with us anymore to commentate for this tribute ( another legendary F1 sound ) .
The best year of Senna was 1993. Fighting against the invincible Williams in the hands of Alain Prost, with this car underpowered by a Ford client spec engine in -80 CV... CHAPEAU!
Never understood the love for Vettel. Petulant child back in his winning days and proved he wasn’t from the very top draw (senna, Prost, Schumacher, Alonso, Hamilton) when it counted. Often cracked under pressure
Seb, what you have done for Ayrton and Roland was amazing. Thank you so much for the tribute. We love car racing because people like you! Ayrton keeps inspiring us in Brazil till today ❤
Oh this is so emotional watching this...tears in heaven for my hero ...i was so fortunate lucky blessed and honored to meet him get his autograph and watch him race at Hungoring Silverstone Monza and Kyalami....was SIMPLY THE BEST ❤❤❤❤
GREAT GESTURE💪. I was overcome with tears again. I was 17 years old when I sat in front of the television that weekend in 1994, looking forward to Formula 1. Unfortunately, it was a tragic weekend 😢
What a wonderful tribute! You make me cry! Senna will forever remain in our hearts as an example of determination, bravery, motivation, heroism, and above all, of a great human being. Thanks Seb!
I went to Imola in 2002 and visited the Monument to Ayrton a truly surreal moment. I have also seen the monument to Ayrton inside the last corner at Estoril in 1996. Well done Seb a fantastic tribute
Thank you Seb, from the bottom of my heart. Seeing both men remembered and watching you wave the Austrian flag, metaphorically finishing what Ayrton wanted to do but couldn't, was a particularly touching moment in a sea of emotions.
It was better than anything! Sebastián gives us a magic moment. So intense here today in Imola..,big emotions with all the crowd. Ayrton, Roland, ❤, i ll never forget. Bravo Sebastian.❤
The sights and sounds in high def’n was giving me goosebumps. I’ve watched F1 since 1986/7 and this just brings joy to my heart. The last 10 years has been a struggle, what with it just being huge, corporate teams dominating. It’ll never be like it once was.
Wow, I watched it breathless. Seb is really going flatout in some places. When he took out the flags it was just so emotional, I was looking at the majestic beauty of the car and the moment. Btw. Vettel looks really great in yellow. And the fact that it was his car just shows his love to the sport.
The perfect person for this. Vettel is a great ambassador for F1 and for this commemoration. Senna and Ratzenburger died way too young but this is a wonderful tribute hosted by a great personality. Thx Seb!!! ❤️
Vettel is a Schumacher fan, but Vettel being the ultra f1 fan geek he is also respects Senna. He also owns the car that won the Season this Mclaren raced in, The Williams FW15. The only car Seb really wanted to get is Schumi's F2004 but the price is too expensive even for him
Thank you so much Seb Vettel. I was in tears watching the video. It brought back such painful memories of watching that fateful race live on television in 1984...😢
This really felt monumental So much admiration and respect. Senna, Ratzenberger and Seb will all be remembered as fantastic drivers forever! Thank you, Seb, this was really moving...
You know seb is answering those questions along with crowd. How could you not, just enjoying the opportunity to drive the car and nerd out with f1 facts. Love Seb.
Giorgio Greece......THANK You Seb.....always liked you but from now on you ll be in my heart.....I was there at 2004 ,I was there now....I felt like Ayrton was there with all of us ...and I really shuddered...me and my son when you passed in front of us....thank you...
Thanks so much for sharing such a special and iconic moment. Brought tears to the eyes 😭. I remember fondly Dad taking me to the Adelaide GP as a kid and how cool it was to see Senna in action 👌
I was just two years old when Senna passed. I played on Ayrton Senna Super Monaco GP II on the Mega Drive and got into F1 due to my family watching it in the late 90's, specifically when Häkkinen took the fight to Schumacher and became champion. I liked it but didn't "love it." Fast forward 30 years and I'm here amazed at what Verstappen is accomplishing, cheering on like at fan girl for Lando and crying at what Seb is doing. This sport really is something else, a lot of my family and friends all say how can you like something like watching cars go around? My response is always, how can you not? I will get to an F1 race one day! Thank you Senna, thank you, Ratzenberger. Thank you Seb, thank you F1!
ahh moi je suis de 87 ahh Gamin cette bataille Prost Senna arrff 😢 le son de cette F1 m'a donné la chair de poule et les larmes que de souvenirs gamins à la télé
It's absolutely beautiful that Vettel did not only think about Senna, but also brought the Austrian flag for Ratzenberger. They couldn't have chosen a better person to do this tribute.
