Aaron has that nice helicopter blade look to his big spins. I hear the part about keeping the front foot on for control, but is the back foot position (or flick) also helping in someway to keep the board level and not let it flip?
I had Shane O’neill teach me bigspins verbally at the 2021 Olympic Qualifying World championships in Rome He told me he simply scoops backwards with his very toes and that i discovered helps scoop way stronger than with just your leg and it keeps the board flat The foot position is the same as a tre flip he said He told me nothing about the frontfoot control thing its just the backfoot which does stuff
hey aaron could you please do a trick tip on doing tricks on banks and hips. I have trouble doing ollies on the slanted surface. I feel like I have much less control of the board and ollie much lower than flantground
Make a video only with you riding flatground, doing all the tricks you have learned in " today I learned ",if you fail doing a trick tou set a amount of 6 tries to get it,if you do not get it,start from the begining with all the tricks : ) I hope you like my ideea,it is a great way to master every trick
Ive bren skating for 7 months and i can ollie fakie ollie fakie fs 180 half cab bs and fs180 pop shuvit shuvit fakie shuvit kickflip fakie kickflip varial flip and fake varial flip like wtf. Im learning heelflips and i landed 5 Out of 100000000 lol wtf
two goofy skaters really questioning regular vs goofy these are hard in regular stance full stop obvs switch is harder but think a look at stances in detail would be interesting.
I have a question for y'all reading this, has anyone ever bought SMS 5 or 6? Just to know about how much difference it is between a trick explained in that video and a trick explained in one of the videos they upload to YT. Have a good one, peace!!
The oldschool bigspin step ain't useful cause it teaches you to scoop with the pocket.that is what you should avoid when doing bigspins. The purpose was actually for Aaron an occasion to show that "OG" move:)
I downloaded skateboarding made simple vol 1 on ibooks and it does not open how can i make it work? It says "can not open it is formatted incorrectly, or it is not a format that ibooks can open" please help!!!
Don't get me wrong i like revive alot and support it! But sometimes it can be kind of inconvenient living in California and waiting say a week or at the most a week and a half for shirts, boards, ect. to come from ohio, when you could just go to a local skate-shop and get a board tomorrow. idk just a thought :D
Manke Art quit skating... just kidding ahah xD try to think of a 360 shove by focusing on your scoop its all on your back foot. also put your front foot perpendicular to the board almost like a ollie, i find this helpfull to avoid rotating a kickflip while doing bigspins
+Manke Art lean back more and try to pop the board under you. also keep your front foot above the board. If you cant flip it under you just practice flipping it and landing front foot, eventually your back leg's muscle memory will remember to flip it that way, then just bend the back knee to catch it. (this is more for three shuv but it still applies) for bigspin do the same thing but turn your shoulders before popping and let your legs follow
the whole game of skate thing with the pop is dependent on who you play with. thats such a popular rule because of the berrics. when i play with my friends, i dont really care if the pop or not.
hi everybody i have a question ... : should i get the marana vulc or the E-lite knowing that i dont do big gap and just learn the basics ... i think i need alot of board feeling to help me progressing .. but does the E-lite or like a vulc AND a cup soul ?? pls help me :) (sorry bad english)
It's funny how he lies and says he's more comfortable moving when he landed it so much easier stationary. Stationary is perfectly fine for learning a new trick, but people are so afraid of what everyone else thinks of it.
no it really is harder learning them standing still, also it kinda like re-learning them when doing them moving, thats why so many beginners can ollie while moving
Gary Burger It obviously wasn't for him. He landed on it the first try not moving and almost got it on the second one. Then he says he feels more comfortable moving and doesn't even get close for a while. I'm also not sure why everyone says you have to relearn a trick after learning it stationary. I've never experienced that transition except for with ollies. If you can ollie while moving and you learned a new trick while standing still, you can do that trick moving.
Gary Burger k cool, and i've been trying, like getting that whole spin with the board and my body, like if i make my board try to do a 360 spin i would end up doing a gazelle spin, but i can do fakie big spins no pivot but thanks
