I generated ingress_url for docker image, I wan to make api call from python stored procedure in snowflake itself. How do i bypass the snowflake Auth(Username and password) in order to access the image directly?
would had been nice: - container using shared mount storage drive (is this supported or planned?) so an existing solution that typically handles files. think on snowflake external stage. - demo container connecting to snowflake.. what entry points supported? special jdbc connection string enough? for snowpark i guess would still need jdbc underneath connectivity? and how about snowflake rest api sql, snowpipe or streaming supported? 😊
snowflake container services streamlit apps could connect to snowflake tables without issues , you could use get session , and then use this session in order to do queries :) , llama2 demo from snowflake is also including this functionality
@@janfarkas7081 so all client side snowflake stuff supported like odbc/jdbc, python connector, snowpark (python, java and scala), ability to call any of snowflake rest api(sql, pipe and streaming), etc.. so snowflake automatically provisions and takes care of network mapping between container and just one specific snowflake account? could container app connect to multiple snowflake accounts from same or different orgs and on different CSPs and/or regions? Im guessing everything available to use, so that makes me wonder about concept of mounted storage that docker supports, which can persist allowing files processing.. something to engage in snowflake community website. Anyway, great demo showing easy creation and use of images/containers. 👍
