The Daphne Blue band also paid tribute to Bowie on his passing by covering some Bowie classics that are worth checking out: LINKS BELOW. David Bowie isn't gone but has ascended from his earthly form and is fighting evil in another dimension. He’ll be back someday, but we must keep the faith until his return. Stay strong, spiders !
Love the rawness of this performance. The feedback in the beginning gave me goosebumps. I had to listen to it again and again. Great song, one of many. Thanks, Starman, you will never be forgotten.
I know exactly what you’re saying ‘jeepers’. That feedback sounded amazing in how it swelled and stopped. It was most likely from Mick’s guitar because it was right in key with the C they were playing - harmonic feedback.
@@cathygraham1469 me too, this tour, this album was such an eye opener for 12 year old me, that year all i listened too was bowie alice cooper trex and slade with a little who mixed in
So thrilled to see this footage. Thank you so much for sharing. I love this performance, it’s so spontaneous and so rock ‘n roll and David is so beautiful and gorgeous and the Spiders are amazing too. Love it, will watch this many times❤️
Some young punks try to fake or lip synch this and I love them for their efforts. I'm fairly sure this is the real Bowie. He made this look easy but it wasn't. Spiders from Mars.
Oooooh whooooo, oh yeah, yeah, Ziggy played guitar -arrr 🎸👍 Man this is the youngest David Bowie I've ever seen, and I bought his first record to make the states in the '70's. David Bowie an icon of Rock and one of many that brought everyone together instead of apart. MSM 👎
I knew the drummer when he was alive I have drank in a pub regularly and talked to him. I got a book out of the local library and Trevor went mad. Because the author had written non quotes out of Trevors mouth and basically I had to give the library book to Trevor because I'd asked him and my mum is this really true? When he read it he went mad. And I had to give him the library book is borrowed. Trevor was a lovely lovely man. He did mic nights where he would play the drums and anyone could get up and jam with him taking turns on a specific night at the pub each week. 😊 he made it so people could write on their cv's "I've jammed with Trevor boulder" 😊
Is not that Mick Ronson on guitar, fantastic. Excellent time "it's an Archetype" a true original. and this guy wound up married and children ? glad this is here thanks
@@mijadreams3486 It's a drug reference to someone who's starting to look skeletal. Sharp cheekbones, hollow cheeks, sunken eyes. I'm not judging him, as I used hard drugs most of my life. It is shocking to see, though. I'm 60 and been clean 24 yrs.
Yes. Screwed up eyes and screwed down hairdo. Lick'em by smiling. Like some cat from Japan. Came on so loaded man, snow white tan, then we were Ziggy's fans. Yes, back to '78 or so, sort of a long time but not really. Bowie lives at his star out on Hollywood Boulevard. Thank goodness the Kinks and the Who and Steely Dan are still around as are the lovely Wilson sisters in a band called Heart.
