Thank you so much. I have been struggling for about a year to find a decent instructional video for live streaming to Android. . Everyone uses iPhone. It's ridiculous. Thank you so much for the help I will definitely give this a try for my Facebook and tik tok videos
Thanks for always sharing with us your knowledge on these things, you really help us a lot! I always go back to your videos whenever I get some troubles with my sound system! Bravo
Very informative maam thank you. Hope you can also do a video how to connect properly the ireg interface in recording a live event using mixer with audio quality sound. Thank you
Wao, this answered my questions! Thanks a million for taking out time to make this instructional video. Though I have a sound card. How do I hook up my sound card to work with this setup? Hoping to see another video that explains how to host other worship leaders in a live stream!
@@jenuds I use Scarlett 2i4 sound card. I will check to see if I can find any of your videos that explains that. But if you can cshare the link with me, that will make things easier for me. Thanks for the love.
I have 1 serious question. So far your setup is very good.. but what happens when you colab with someone on your life stream which will be happening on your phone. How will you get their voice audio out from ur phone into you mixer and into your headphone at the same time? The way you have connected, audio only gets out from your mixer into your phone and broadcasted to live stream. But no path for audio from your phone into the mixer. More like if you get a messenger call from somebody you wont hear what they are saying. I hope you understand what i am trying to point out and surely be able to answer me.
@@jenuds thank you for your reply sir. I have a suggestion for the above problem i mentioned ealier. How about the usb port on the mixer? Which is use for playback and record. Audio travels both ways in and out on that port. Will it be a sensible thing to do connecting the mixers usb port to the phone port via a otg adapter or something.
I would think so. I was playing the actual audio output from a fB live as part of this video. Connecting a speaker, in my opinion connecting a speaker will not be as clean audio as via line in
@@jenudsok thanx… but what if I am playing Indian harmonium alongside while singing n also instead of background music my tabla app is playing from an app on my I phone … can I still record my harmonium? Unlike keyboard, there is no wire or Bluetooth connection for harmonium…
Most likely it will not work coz you can’t open same time camera for Recording and tabla app. So you have to use a different device for recording. The other device where you’ll be opening the tabla app connect it same way I connected the iPad to mixer in this video
I can’t really recommend a mic coz I only have a few mic. Not really a pro on it yet. If you’re using an audio mixer, condenser or dynamic mic will do.
@@jenuds i tried the soundcard trick and messed up my computer soundcard, i had bought one mixer but was a mess, no feedback from microphone or cellphone im purchasing another mixer bit expensive and will see how it goes.
Thanks for help .. i was having mixer and was not able to setup so that i can connect with my iphone to record the podcasts directly.. let see it works from india 🇮🇳
If it doesn’t work for Recording, you should buy lightning adapter from the apple store as the lightning adapter I got from other store didn’t work. I can only hear all effects but didn’t work for Recording/Stabbing
Hey, love the video! I have a quick question 😊 I want to stream on my phone but have music playing from my other phone through my headphones and also through the stream on the streaming phone. Is there a way I can do this? Thanks 🥰🥰🥰
Set up should be the same as in this video however instead of using laptop or iPad as source of background music, connect it to your other device thru it's headphone port
@@blessmusicdaily No it's not a waste. In fact using an audio interface along with an audio software will give you the best result as long as you know how to edit.

It’s hard to tell coz it would depends what kind and size of mixer you’re getting. This mixer that I’ll using is a bit old and kind a outdated. There are new one mixer now that have USB and Bluetooth connectivity. There are lots of condenser mic also to choose from. You can amazon or local super close to your place.
I did not use monitor speaker in this. On the live streaming portion- I saved the video from FB streaming that i did and I used the audio from that FB streaming. You will see a note on top “playing audio from FB live”
Hi, thank you for your sharing.. i just figure it out whole night how to do this.. because i will using my ipad as music source on youtube.. and my android phone will be streaming device.. also i want to ask, for the ipad is it necessary need yellow and red rca cable?
@@jenuds hi.. i just doing what u suggest on the video.. but now problem is the sound quality on the live stream not stable.. i mean my voice and backing track not balance.. do you have any idea how can i solve this problem? My internet speed no problem at all.
The color is only to indicate where it should go, but it doesn't matter technically. It's the same signal no matter if it's white, red or yellow. Typically red is for right channel, white for left channel and yellow is for something else. But it will work no matter the color. 🙂
With this type of set of you want to connect a speaker through stereo out and to you can connect headphone/earphone through the headphone port of the mixer. Speaker should be not so close to the mic as it will feedback.
Yes, whatever you connect to the mic port from the mixer like guitar, keyboard, etc. In this set up for recording, you’re recording all the inputs in one track which means you can’t edit each track separately. Using let’s say a focusrite, you can edit each track separately.
I cannot get my samsung s22 to receive the audio. I have tried everything. Trs to ttrs adapter then trrs to usb c. Im so confused and done with the whole thing.
@jenuds seems to work better if I use my old Samsung with 3.5mm jack. Sound is weird with usb c adapter on new phone. It's frustrating as I got an S22 to stream the amazing video quality live. Thank you for your content and work 😊
Here is video for you. I can’t really say this is would give you quality recording, you can give it a try and do your mix to achieve the audio you preferred. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2dlQ366l2NE.html
Ca. You do the same tutorial video for Android galaxy s21. For my Android galaxy s21 it is not working. Plus, my android does not have audio jack, so I use a splitter but phone still uses mic on phone.
is the output in fb live stereo? if there were panning in different channel, will it be heard in fb live? i have a problem here, my phone audio can't go in to mixerr.. but when i connect my instrument to mixer, no prob.. i wonder why...
Sorry I’m not an expert yet about Mono or stereo recording or streaming. In this set up, I believed Output is mono coz Panning option will only move the audio output to the left or right of the speaker. This video, includes the actual audio from my sample from FB streaming. If you want to stream from your phone, audio should come out from your phone then will come out to your live stream. However if you meant another phone or device as a source of your background music, then there are options to connect them.
I really appreciate your video. I tried it with an android phone and it worked perfectly fine. I had issues with the iphone i used because it kept picking the surrounding noise. What could be the cause? I really need your help on that Am i using a wrong or fake lightning adapter for the iphone ?
Most likely you are right. Common issue for iPhone users is the lightning adapter. Try recording with echo - set to high - then check if the recorded vocal has echo then you have the right adapter. But if the Recorded vocal is flat and has no echo, then you have the headphone adapter only which won’t work for Recording. I bought mine from Apple Store.
Does this work the same with an audio interface? I recently got a behringer umc204hd and I'm quite confused on how I will connect both my phone (stream) and laptop (for background music)
Using an audio mixer, you don’t need a DAW. Using an audio interface, you will need a DAW and I know a little on Ableton live and garage band. Once you’ve connected your audio interface to your DAWin your computer-set your vocals to have effects. Play music from your laptop- sing along with it-then connect it to your phone (original lightning adapter for iPhone) for streaming. It’s a bit complicated using an audio interface.
@@jenuds Thank you so much for replying! I got a bunch of cables and some adaptors yesterday. Will any DAW work? I was searching up free DAWs. I'm considering downloading Tracktion Waveform or Cakewalk because I think you have to pay for Ableton? or it comes with certain products. I'm using an android phone for the stream btw. Do you have any idea how I can hear the audio in my stream? Because I can only hear my voice through the mic and the audio from the laptop. (My phone is connected to the audio interface through the playback outputs 1&2. I used an RCA cable. I'm not sure if I'm connecting it to the right plug)
As an update: You cannot connect 1/8 inch jack or 3.5 to an Android.. As about at least 4 years ago new phones only accept USB-C. You will need an adapter.
I have my aux out connected straight into my Ipad, but it isn't picking up my mixer audio, it's still using the default microphone and I'm getting frustrated, would you know why?
If you meant main out to your iPad to do recording- it’s not gonna. If you want to use main out connection for recording- this video might give you idea ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SMhG30QrdwI.htmlsi=NZ_MO7V_aKH5GpDA
Hi congratulations for the very thorough explanation. I understand everything perfectly. I don't have a laptop. Only Apple products. When traveling, I could possibly use an iPhone and iPad Pro with USB C. Is that possible? Second : I have ordered the necessary adapters. But is this mixer of good quality?
For me Audio is good. I hope you get the right adapter as you won’t be able to record or stream if you have the wrong adapter for iPhone. Ipad should work as it goes directly to the headphone port.
Hi helo . I have pro max 15 and amplifier with bluetooth . Doni still need the 3.5 to RCA and how do i connect it with thisbkind of setup my phone uses usbc
First of all I hope you get the usb c to 3.5mm adapter from the apple store. It looks like you will still have to use RCA to 3.5mm you are connecting audio from the mixer to your amplifier then connected to your phone. (not the phone to the BT amplifier.) In other words audio is coming in to your phone not going out from your phone.
Audio interface would be the best for recording with audio software so you can still a lot of edit to your vocals and background music separately. But for sure mixer alone you could have a great audio output.
As I showed in this video, you connect TRRS to RCA (red and white). From ReC Out port of the mixer connect the RCA Red and white and TRRS to your phone.
Hi, the cable that connects the mixer to the phone can it work without the other cables you have connected apart from the microphone cable and it can also work on another 12 track mixer
Yes. The other cables used were to connect a background music. If you don’t need them you don’t have to use or connect them. Here another video to connect mixer to phone ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SMhG30QrdwI.htmlsi=AIihwqAEbPacl2ym
It sounds like the issue is on the lightning adapter. If you don’t have the right one, it will not work at all. I don’t know yet what other brand works other than the one from Apple Store
Apart from having a good voice, you also have the gift to teach. We certainly need you to share your other videos. Thanks for a very nice presentation.
