We shouldn't panic about the situation, but rather we should thank God with all our hearts that He's given us the grace to see clearly. The sublime promise of Christ of "non prevalebunt" remains, indeed thd Apostolic hierarchy, the validity of the Holy Mass and the Sacraments, and the purity of the Deposit of Faith endures, and it will until Christ will put to end end human history. That's all that matters. And we must remember we are left in this great trial to suffer the great passion of the Church with great confidence in God, never losing the focus on the perennial teaching of the Church. There are traditional Latin masses on RU-vid. Do a search and see what you like. Perhaps you could play one of those each Sunday and use an online traditional catechism to teach your children. We have the same problem where I live in the US. No traditional priests or masses anywhere in my area. Prayers for you and all of India, indeed, for the Church, that this situation turn around. Don't lose hope. God will move mountains when He decides. Pray the rosary daily with your children.

Indian Catholic here. Agree - we had a TLM at my local Jesuit parish in Mumbai. It was stopped due to all Masses being suspended during lockdown in March 2020. All the parish TLMs in Mumbai are now cancelled. The SSPX priests occasionally fly in to offer the TLM but the venue is so far that most people have to travel there the previous night, stay in a B&B and attend Mass. The charismatic movement is very harmful and it is very widespread and powerful here. I attend the NO as no access to the TLM. But on Sundays and First Class Feast days I additionally watch a livestreamed TLM. In the meantime, I am praying novenas for the return to Tradition and restoration of the TLM. Anyone who reads this, have pity on us in India and pray for us. To paraphrase Our Blessed Mother - we have no wine!

Wish there was a way to find them. Also pray that the orders dedicated to preserving Sacred Tradition/ Heritage would expand their missions. Right now over 50% of those offering the Tridentine Rite are in diocesan parishes, which means if it's [unjustly] banned, only those blessed to be near one of the chapels or a monestary which invites the public to their masses would have access.

I have said for years that lack of catechesis .When my children were young I could not find a catechism any where. An ex nun told me they were forbidden to use the catechism.I believe there was a movement after V2,not part of the council but perpetrated by certain members of the clergy to stop the teaching of the catechism so that a time would come when the majority of the church were uncatechised and therefor would swallow anything that came out of Rome!We are now at that time I am appalled at the ignorance of the Faith by so many.My own childrn were sent to the best Catholic Schools in England,and left with a very weak knowledge of the Faith, my grand children's knowledge is even worse.I am not near them to help instruct them .There are folk teaching catechism who teach what they have learnt from "Happy Clappy" churches.Not the Catholic Faith LET US PRAY

Executive office (via agents of US Presidents and state department officials, etc.) was happening since post-WWII up through early 70s (at least) ..... These different factions, including some monarchs, politicians in many countries, and big money families all play a role in this bc their goals are the same - global tyranny. My brother was a former Trappist monk who became a civil rights attorney, linguist archaeologist and unmatched legal mind that the Clinton administration and Johnson and Kennedy depended on. what he told me through the years is frighteningly accurate and unfortunately their plan seems to be working I hope not. He never married, and he and I were extremely close and I can tell you without hesitation I never did figure out which side he was on because he was a devout Catholic, and seemed to be teamed with the wrong side of that coin. I will never know. He was at once a brilliant Catholic theologian, and on the other hand, a staunch socialist.

The other problem was that they took away the nuns who were teaching catechesis and replaced with laity. That should have NEVER happened. Certainly, the priests either failed to oversee what was being taught or they were complicit. I was taught NOTHING useful in the 70s. It took me 40 years later to investigate things myself to try to understand what happened to the Mass and Church of my early childhood.

It's not just a matter of Latin, it's the theocentrism and the entire focus on the Sacrifice of Calvary (as opposed to the downplaying of it in favor of the community) that characterizes the Mass of the ages that is directly descendant from the Apostles.

It started too broke to fix. It needs to be 🗑 Zero eucharist ministers, no placing the body, blood, soul and divinity of Christ in ANY unanointed hands.

For those who may not understand or have questions about why the faithful wish to retain the Tridentine Rite, here's some history you may find interesting! This section deals with language, unity & other aspects. There will be another section dealing with what was lost in the transition from the TR & to the NO. Much was lost, important, meaningful prayers were removed completely or distorted to shift focus away from what the Mass actually is (see below). a good resource is a book; "Iota Unum", which details these changes & how they dramatically changed the central focus of the Mass, thus causing many downstream aberrations regarding the Mass, beliefs [Lex Orandi Lex Credendi] & the Church's mission in the world. The Tridentine Rite was codified during the CO Trent. However, it was in use & organically developed for centuries before that. CO Trent did not create the Tridentine Rite, it simply codified the Rite which was in use for many centuries. Alternate languages were only used for the past 40-50 years, out of over 1.6 millennia or more of the Mass' existence. It was only codified during the Council of Trent due to prot innovations/disfigurement, but was in use going back to the Apostolic age & was passed on to the Church Fathers & so on according to evidence. [See: The Didache, The Roman Canon]. You'd be surprised how much Latin you already know since it's the root for many modern languages, plus it's still used in medical, scientific, technical, legal language & people are able to deal. The Missal also has Latin in one column and a translation on the other so its easy to follow along if you wish. It's also prudent to remember what the Mass actually is; it is the unbloddy re-presentation of Christ's sacrifice & ultimate, eternal triumph being offered by the priest on our behalf. It is the manner through which sanctifying grace flows into the world via worship of the One Triune God in the Church Christ founded. It is not a communal gathering or a remembrance of TL Supper or a congregational service, meeting, or symbolic sharing of bread and wine. The sections ment for the people are easy to learn & the gospel is read in Latin & vernacular. There is also an entire treasury of Sacred Music which was composed by some of the most holy Saints, monks, priests, mystics & masterful composers. Latin is the sacred language of the RCC. There were 3 languages which hung above Christ's head on the cross; Latin, Greek, Hebrew. This has immense spiritual & historical significance. Jerusalem & the surrounding areas Christ traveled to were occupied by Hebrews, Romans & Greeks during that time in history & He drew a variety of followers; so certainly would've known how to communicate in these languages. The use of Latin positively PROMOTES UNITY since anywhere anyone would travel, whether locally, across states/provinces or other countries across the world; one could walk into a RCC & know exactly what was going on despite differences in language, ethnicity, location. If you study Catholic history, one feature which frequently appears is that during & after trans-national operations, meetings etc, although soldiers & relief operations, diplomats of different nations were unable to communicate effectively with eachother due to language barriers, including differences in dialects; that the one place they were able to unite & fully understand eachother was during the Catholic Mass.... Sadly, this amazing, unifying aspect is gone now. The adversaries of the Church especially hated & resented this unique unifying aspect that held The Mystical Body of Christ together unlike any other; so they embarked on a mission to destroy it. But, as Christ emphasizes in John 15:18; “If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you. If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” We can apply this today in many ways, but also to the concept of the unifying Mass. Just because the world wishes to impose what it feels is the current "norm" or trend which is constantly & ever changing, we have something else, something stable that can help us weather those storms; Christ, the pillars of His Church, the Depositum Fidei & the Holy Mass. What was True & Beautiful two millennia ago, is still True & Beautiful today. In addition, the meaning & definition of the words do not change over time as with English or other modern languages. This ensures the teachings handed down, the theology, remains free from error & novel interpretation. It's important to note that the Tridentine Rite also contains some Greek, as in the Kyrie Eleison & some Hebrew such as, Hosanna. Also keep in mind that there are over 25 Catholic Churches, each with their own Rite. For example; the Byzantine CC uses the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom sung in ecclesiastical Greek & some Latin. The Councils & Holy Sees ensured that these Rites were never to be abrogated & that all Priests through the ages were granted faculties to offer the Tridentine Rite; in perpetuity, under pain of great punishment. [See: Quo Primum, Summorum Pontificum] You'd be surprised how quickly you'd catch on to Latin, as our modern languages are based on it. It's still used in medical, scientific, legal & technical language as well, so again after a few times & a little patience people catch on quickly... Especially since the Missal has side by side translations & explanations which make it easy to follow along if you wish. Everything, from the priest's Vestments, the order in which he puts them on & the prayers that go along, to the prayers, gestures & movements he makes approaching & across the altar, the items upon the altar, their arrangement, color etc is deeply meaningful & rooted in Sacred Scripture & 2000 years+ of Sacred Apostolic Tradition. The daily missal, as well as other resources are available for free online & offer detailed descriptions, history & meanings, and guides which aid one in following along. The beauty, truth, and humility, within is something quite special! The Mass, along with the Liturgical Calendar full of feast days honouring the life of Christ, Blessed Mother & the Holy Family, the Saints, including so many rich devotions & traditions most fully expresses & passes on the Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi & Depositum Fidei of the CC. For centuries, families looked forward to passing on this unique Spiritual Heritage with great joy. It united them with the central focus of our faith in Christ, His teachings to the Apostles, the Saints, martyrs and all those which came before. This is the Mass of The Ages, the Mass that many reading this post inherited & grew up with, our parents, grandparents, their grandparents & gg-parents before them and so on attended, served & offered. This is the Mass which our Great Saints attended, offered, served, and gave their lives in defense of; such as Mexico's Christeros, France's Vendeé, Ireland's þersecution, Rus, Pol, Germany, Italy"s þersecution, revolts & conflicts throughout history and many others, even to this day. This is what we sinners hold on to during storms of uncertainty; Christ's teachings, His sorrowful Passion, His ultimate, eternal triumph upon the Cross & resurrection. The Sacraments, sacramentals & devotions we've been gifted. Sanctifying grace, the mystery of faith contained within Holy Eucharist, the forgiveness of sins which our priests mediate during confession. Our extended family of intercessors: His Holy Family, Blessed Mother's Immaculate Heart, The Communion of Saints & Angles. With all that said, Catholics who simply wish to worship as they were taught, as their fathers & their fathers before that & so on. Catholics who value the passing on of their Spiritual Heritage should be able to do so without fear of persecution or insult. [see Quo Primum; Summorum Pontificum; Pascendi Dominici Gregis; The Ottaviani Intervention; Writings of AB Lefebvre] The limiting, subsequent suppression & upcoming possible total ban is unjust, uncharitable, irrational, scandalous, dishonourable, exposes a serious lack of pastoral understanding, and is simply cruel; especially for those who will have to live through yet another disruption in Sacred Tradition/ Heritage & possibly more destruction of our Churches, so many of which were built, decorated & maintained by generations of families... ...Likewise, I also would never insult the Rites offered by any other CC's or expect them to abandon their Spiritual Heritage or change it to "satisfy" the whims of the world. In fact, I've attended several, each was a wonderful, beautiful and humbling experience, and I look forward to hopefully attending all of them... That is, if they don't suddenly cease to exist. Their "Liturgical Experiment" has fundamentally changed what/how the Church has always taught & believed. Bugnini (a FM), a group of prots & "elderbros" rewrote the ancient, organically developed Mass of The Ages into something fundamentally different, the Sacraments themselves, the Rites of Ordination & destroyed countless churches. Thus severing the opportunity for Catholics to worship as their fathers, grandparents, and the Saints have & to pass down the Lex Orandi Lex Credendi as they were taught. They fostered the false idea that the Church didn't exist before 1960-1970 AD, or that there was something wrong with it up until the advent of what is now referred to as "The Conciliar Church". They walk all over Quo Primum which protected the Tridentine Rite upon pain of great punishment, for all priests of all ages, in perpetuity, Summorum Pontificum (which shouldn't have been needed) & all of the previous Church Councils. ..... I can say you have not listened to his podcasts. We worship Triune God through Jesus who is the bridge between God and man. We do not worship the Pope. Pope, as a representative of Christ should point to God. We should be careful when he causes confusion. Confusion does not come from God. Fr.Murr has said we should stay with the church. What is happening now is what happened in the Old Testament when leaders repeatedly strayed away from God. Humans never learn. The same thing is happening now. We need prophets to warn us not to follow leaders blindly.
