It’s amazing how she can be actively coaching one person and while they’re setting up she gives real constructive coaching to someone else. She is so engaged, it’s incredible.
Guys, note how Rich was coach by Sage even when he can snatch 300 ish. So, the message is simple, you are never good enough to keep working on your skills. High volume will not make you better if the technique is not there yet.
I am such a fan of Sage as a couch. When she called out the Army Fitness Team guy for not listening to her and then just ignoring his comments/excuses back to her. That was expertly handled in a way that is so understated. Just impressed with her!
I have watched this video at least 5 times...this is by far one of the best training tutorials ever! The information is golden! That Apple didn’t fall far from the tree🥰She is definitely a Burgener!❤️👏👏👏👏Thank you @SageBurgener
I can watch Sage coach every day. I appreciate her eye, her enthusiasm and the way she can communicate both through verbal and visceral cues. Fun and functional!
Great video, thanks for sharing! Especially as we are still in lockdown in the UK it is nice to watch someone else coaching. Lots to learn as a coach in this video
This is amazing connect...and you offer it with such transparency. What a group of people! Page is lethal, a true role model. Mayhem is doing the MOST!
When we correct an athlete we never say "don't do this" because subconsciously the athlete thinks the mistake instead of focusing to do the right thing.! So the cue must be "try to do this" #try to keep that bla bla".. So at the high hang muscle snatch she should say to the athlete "keep your knees/feet locked"
interesting to see that these athletes are not using Olympic weightlifting shoes... wonder if that would help them more to have a specific shoe for that kind of session. Skill all around is amazing and great coaching Sage.
In Crossfit you learn internal Rotation In a Weightlifting Gym you learn external Rotation I mean you can do the internal rotation, the only question is: how expensive is the surgery?
Hard when you are a legend in a sport to take coaching when you are so seasoned. Like that in any sport with its top top top stars that have been great for so long.
Interesting how different one interprets another one's expressions. To me it doesn't look like that at all. Rich is simply dead serious lifting and listening. When it comes to training, he often has that serious look on his face. And I don't think he would even participate in this if he wouldn't be open to feedback. Rich has always been humble throughout his career.
@@Nesh16041972 That's fair to say. Just when he turned away and seemed to be talking back, when she was still actively speaking to him seemed a little odd.
I'm pretty sure they get tested before working out, it would be pretty dumb not to and then get everyone infected with Covid, just because someone didn't want to wear a mask.
@@gus3051 Perhaps. Or they realize as healthy young people getting COVID means they may feel a little sick for a few days, then have a near 100% of getting back to life.
@@davidcaruso3045 None of that is true, it doesn't matter If you're healthy or not, when you get sick you get sick. What matters is; how effectively your recovery and your body fight it off after getting sick. Covid, even if you're healthy and fit will still get others sick. Just wear a mask, slow the infectious rate, and be patient. The vaccine is here, give it time, life will soon return back to normal. You're not always going to believe that but it is a matter of being disciplined and not taking an unnecessary risk when you can mitigate it
Do not push your knees out in the 1st pull and do not re-bend the knees in your 2nd pull to sweep/scoop the bar?!?!? Yeah she is not correct, both are improper technique. This lady does not know weightlifting.
