Biden should have the power to remove any SCJ that stated during their interview before Congress and the world that Roe v Wade was precedent. These people lied. During their interview they said one thing, but after being hired, they did the opposite. In the real world, if you lie on your job application, those are grounds for termination. The Supreme Court didn’t just kick this back to the lower court, but also to every American voter. If the President can do whatever he or she wants regardless of how criminal it is as long as it’s “official”, then we should be all the more careful who we put in office. I dread the future.

The idea of giving nine people, who often have shown less integrity than Mobsters, life time appointment is simply absurd. This is the court that has ruled: 1) That Bribery (Campaign Contribution) is legal and is Freedom Of Speech. 2) That Corporations are people and can give unlimited Bribes. 3) That Non-profit outfits can provide Bribes for political figures without revealing the names of the people who are providing the Bribes. 4) That the people who use Brand name meds have legal protection for side effects, but the majority of people who use the Generics, have no protection. 5) That a bunch of old men in different states can decide about women health and reproductive rights. So, don't expect anything positive from such corrupt court.

So the court took all this time deciding this case and didn’t address any of the specific charges of the Jan 6 case and threw that back to the district court to modify the charges. Trump will appeal again and the Supreme Court will delay again.

Correct. That is how the law functions. Jan 6th first off is illegitimately labeled an insurrection. And trump was the sitting president at the time. Which is why the immunity matters here. And those supossed actions that you call "insurrection" were in the "outer circle of the presidents duties" the president wanting election transparency is absolutely a duty of a sitting president.

I don’t think any of us should be embarrassed by what the extreme right is doing. They’ve been planning this for decades. I read the other day that there are over 100 extreme right organizations in our country and all of this is being funded by dark money and corporations. (See Senator Whitehouse’s series called “The Scheme”) Hopefully there are enough people of good character to reelect Biden, but if not, we’re sure going to learn a huge lesson.

Did you read the SCOTUS Rule ???? 😒 It simply says "OFFICIAL Acts are Immune and Unofficial Acts are NOT". It also says courts can NOT second guess "motives" - this is a KEY take away. Take a moment and ponder the importance of this comment. It means Prosecutors can NOT assume MOTIVE and thus turn an Official Act into a Crime for Political gain or any other reason.
