As a novice tattoo artist but having my degree in Fine Arts, I know I’m an artist but learning the gun and blending with needles is new. I needed to hear you say not every artists is posting amazing work every day. It takes time, and each canvas is different. Blessings and love your work brotha! 🤞🏾💉
@@CONNOR-a dude wtf don’t get a throat tattoo!! That’s gonna be stuck on your neck forever, get something bad ass on your chest or hand or something 🙏🏻 just some words of advice brother.
Been drawing since I was little and love getting tattoos, and a few relatives pitched in and got me a tattoo machine as a gift. I've been practicing on fake skin and fruit for a few months and videos like these help so much! Hope you continue to post content like this.
Oliver, hey bro I want to thank you so much for this video, you answered my request and did a video not with a window showing the ink cups that you're using but you explained every part and every ink you use on every part.. Thank You bro, very much appreciated... Love your work, your videos are very inspirational and explaining every step is very helpful.. Explaining everything is very hard to do while you're tattooing, Amazing job bro... :)
Dude I love you. I appreciate all you do. I’ve been watching you for a couple years now. And I got to say. You have been my number one mentor. Wish I could meet you in person and get some work done by you just talk tattoo.
To the last question. I have a zoo in my city. Theres a Lion, Tiger, and a Grizzley bear. They all grew up together and live in the same pen. The alpha male in that pen is the Grizzley was the alpha in the pen. I feel like they have had fights growing up and just came to a realization that the Grizzley is the superior animal haha. Love the work as always. As well to another comment. How you said "you had to teach yourself" in regards to how difficult it is to get a tattoo apprenticeship. I fell into the same exact scenario, and i appreciate you and anyone else who puts content out there for everyone to watch. Its so unbelievably helpful. Thank you!
I like how u break down what needles u use y u use em how u do what colors for what and the way to use your gun for shade ways or lines..beast mode homie..it helps out alot
You mentioned that you started by doing dot work Any chance you could talk a bit more about dot work ? :) like when you do a dot do you just stab it in there or do you also wiggle it around tiny bit? Or do you just get it in there and hold it for half a sec or so ? P.s been following you a while now A lot of times i just watch for hrs and hrs non stop love your videos so much and I recommend them to my friends who also do tattoos Massive thank you for sharing this so detailed and real time 🙏
Just 18 minutes into this. I love the realness that you give... this is the first of MANY tattoo videos that I see as really helpful and insightful, coming from a really good artist (and i mean you).. I'm trying to follow my passion of tattooing myself now. So.. thank you brov👍✌.. you're an inspiration.. Any pointers on what fake skin to use???
Also. 1 hour and 44 seconds in and I think about those master ink shows.. my dude can definitely be in that show.. just look at the work given with just this amount of time. Video being 2 hours and some.. when on the show they're given 6 hours.. I can just imagine what you can do withing that time.. very much props to you 👊😎.. Do take pride and acknowledgment in your craft/work.. Kudos brov
This live stream was exceptional, the details and depth you went into explaining everything as you worked was just fantastic man , I hope you find the time to make some future lives in the same way bud there phenomenal
Oliver, what's up Brother!!! Loving these videos mate!! Your killing these tats man, really enjoy the subject matter, style, and your wicked ways, lol!! Peace! Oh, and Chattanooga, Tn. in the house!
Hands are so difficult to tattoo, a couple of days a go a had some client he is construction worker or some heavy job and his hands are like wood really hard and damaged skin, so much difficulties to put the ink under ste skin if i go deeper the skin just starts to bleed if i go normal as usually the ink just stays in the surface of the skin. It took me like 2h just for the knuckles.
Hi guys im new to tattoing feel free to answer of you know the answer haha. Is it normal that the skin turns so red? Isnt better to set another date with the client? That red skin makes me think that the color is not going to hold off due to the inflamation, maybe i am not used to see red skin jajajaj
@@darkmagician3720 thanks!! Ive been training with oranges for a week and i think im getting the hand of it. Im saving money for more black ink and sinthetic skin . Your comment is really usefull!
Lol, I asked at the beginning before seeing you use the DaVinci 5rs, I personally like all of the V2s I've tried so far, with their only being 1 Kwadron distributor in all of the U.S. they get to be a pain to acquire sometimes. Glad for the V2s to fall back on.
Ok got a question i noticed when i use super small rl that no matter how much i clean or dip just the tip of the needle i still end up with crap inbetween the needles and sometimes its so bad ill end up have the double line effect how do u deal with this issue? Ive noticed it happen alot with smaller round liners. No matter how often i rinse ink out or how often. I use dynamic ink as well and it doesn't happen as often with it but it does still happen. Especially with Black and Grey work? Any pointer would be mad helpful and appreciated. Again ur the best mate
Hey, i like your video. I am thinking About getting the bischop wand. But I dont know if i want the liner or the packer. Now I have the cheyenne hawk pen. I like to do lots of mandalas and names. Witch one would you reccomend ? thankyou!
Greetings from California ,U.S! Been doing my research before getting into tattooing and this channel single handedly has motivated me to get started ASAP, love your work !
Love the realness in these videos , sometimes in this industry you can feel very alone with your thoughts , think most artists do , I know I do 🙌❣️ so appreciate the braveness to let us watch all your process ❣️ thank you
Man I love your channel bro I'm an artist from Louisiana and started to loose confidence in my work lately tattoos have been taking alot longer then they should to complete and my creativity isnt worth a f right now like writers block what can I do what would you do?
Never catch your live vids, still get to watch them while I’m at the gym on the machines tho 👍🏽💪🏽. Keep up the excellent work bro, from California. Hope to see you in an expo here soon
I don’t think it’s a bad thing they are supporting a brand of ink for tattoos. In my opinion it seems they are just trying to support the tattoo community as a whole.
Great skills!! I'm watching all about your videos!!! Maybe next time you can put a second camera on the inkcaps so we can see which gray you take and when you take it
OLIVER AYRE cool can you also help me out I can’t access my Patreon right now I got rid of a debit card and was trying to pay. I have grown so much because of your channel. Please help correct so I can pay and have access
My band would love to make an intro song for your videos/Channel🥂 We do fusion “nu metal” but we can handle pretty much any style. You are such a beast brother😈 Thank you so much for being so in-depth☝️❤️
Hey Oliver, thank you so much for making these videos! I’ve been watching and learning from you for a while now. I started out tattooing goat skins for decorating the ancient bows I replicate and then moved to live skin. Your input on RU-vid is priceless 🙏🏻 When I make it out to England Ide love to get some ink thrown by you brother.
what you said about the artist uploading their work, spot on ! because its the same for me , some canvases are great and others not so . So you are deffs spot on with what you're saying .
@@Sam-sp7qh entonces la gran mayoría de tatuadores de la actualidad son niñas y el hecho de que usen pen no quiere decir que no sepan usar una maquina de bobinas
I've learned so much from this video. First one I've seen in real time. Thanks for the education, I can't wait for the next one. From San Antonio Texas
