Just look on the highway next time and most of the cars are filled with 2 people or less. I'm sure there's a good mix of people that want to drive and those and don't. Def many factors to that - some like to have that control, length of daily drive, adoption/comfortable with FSD will still take a bit, BS lawsuits will cause headaches, more and more distracted drivers that are far more dangerous than FSD in 2 years should still keep it as a wanted/needed feature, etc. It will be easy to modify robotaxi for 2-6 seaters. Tesla will just see how the demand will play out but they need to hedge their bets either way. Why have a depreciating asset with many parts - the future is this way and Tesla is just so far ahead of everyone else playing catchup.
