Dooney's bags made in Vietnam are often of somewhat shoddy workmanship. I just returned a bag for that reason: made in Vietnam, and it had uneven stitching and very poor finishes including the leather duck was not 3 dimensional, but flat leather, cheap. I put the bag next to a bag of similar style that was made elsewhere and they were very different. The other duck logo was three dimensional leather, etc. Thanks for your tip about the dust bag. I just pulled my Florentine bags out of their blue dust bags.
Agreed. Vietnam consistently produces the worst craftsmanship of the factories that Dooney works with from my experience (unlike the Philippines, which is almost always great).
Your "Oh, no!" when he cut into the bag had me rolling.😂 LOOOVED his video. He needs to do Florentine next! Of course, all of US knew that Dooney's quality could withstand all that he put this poor bag through.😎 Regarding the quality of the interior, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it was done a little messy, being from Vietnam. From what I've noticed, Vietnam is the worst of Dooney's factory partners. I've returned plenty that were made in Vietnam because of the shoddy craftsmanship. The Philippines and USA produce consistently great quality. Mexico is generally pretty great, also.
