Let's look at the overall situation from a practical point of view. - There's a union government that is only intent on toppling state governments. - The state level political parties have no other alternative except to allow the local politicians a free run to stay in governance. - What else can we expect?

We in West Bengal want the state's present ruling dispensation to go. But also at the same time do not want any national party to do the reins over here. Neither the Congress nor the BJP and last but not least, not even the left. The Congress had deliberately ruined Bengal post independence with their economic policies of freight equalusation and license raj, in orchestration with their cohort, a former British stooge who had a hand at pushing the large number of Bengal's population to starvation death by hoarding the food commodities, Ghanshyamdas Birla, after they failed to make the Bengalis a stateless community alike the Sindhis by merging West Bengal with Bihar to make it Purva Pradesh. The state unit all along had not the gumption to try and put brakes on the superior's mischief. The BJP, though eulogising their mentor figure Shyamaprasad Mukherjee, yet this uncouth political dispensation from the Hindi belt understandably would be more maverick with these disquieting practices. Last but least not also the Communists as, these are a different element far more obsessed with foreign ideals and looking at the socioeconomic and sociopolitical ills through foreign glasses and messing up in their deliberations on them. Their 'state of the art' methods of running the political mission includes among others, throwing smoke bubbles of 'revolution' in the air and on the ground undertaking nefariously fascist activities as pushing party priorities into practically everything. They had diminished the educational standards so that the students by and large tilt towards doing party jobs for living without left with any viable alternatives. Their dubious pursuits of such nature for a full three and half decade had rendered the democratic institutions in the state into ramshackels and as a result of which the opposition politics fell into the hands of the lumpens the present political dispensation the trinamool congress, an offshoot from the mother Congress is the representative of the same. I'm for quite sometime, seized with an idea arising out of mere coincidence of sorts which stirs in me a political sentiment and I wish this be imbibed with by all fellow Bengalis. The present loksabha has a strength of 543 and by sheer coincidence the number of freedom fighter martyrs and prisoners, whose names are engraved on the walls of the Andaman Cellulor jail, is also 543!!! But the brute majority among them are Bengalis(398!!!) and all are Hindus. So if that be imagined as the the parliament of morality then the Bengalis are in huge majority. So at this point of time, delving upon the post independence going till date I'm pretty obsessed with the opinion that, contributing to the maximum the country named India that our Bengali forefathers had freed ruling the roost over it thereafter is a conglomerate of stone headed insensitive upcountry crooks, the methodist downcountry crooks and the profitzkreig west country cronies who have made a heavy weather of all the value driven socioeconomic and sociopolitical pursuits and thus have rendered the atmosphere draped in utmost corruption and vulgurly unprincipled goings. The Bengalis have to rise to the occasion and strive for a new political outfit to do justice the cause of its formation and to regain their pride and reclaim their century old political glory. They should tread any political path deemed fit and pursue the same undistracted and undetracted not being unduly overawed by any political dictates from any corner. After all, Bengalis need not take the lesson of nationalism from any damn quarters.
