Funding for NATO and Ukraine dosnt have to be tied together. NATO footing more of the bill without letting Ukraine in actually makes it easier for USA to fund Ukraine directly, which is what Ukraine is asking for.

For anyone alive when Reagan was President, it's important to know he believed in trickle down economics theory. He also made share buybacks legal, allowing the wealthiest to gain wealth. President Zelenskyy is the opposite. Ukraine deserves to have steadfast allies. Will the people be there for the people, children of Ukraine? As for the Republican Party since Reagan, it has become isolationist.

@@kaylingle3890 Well, if you want my opinion, then here it goes: 1.) Trump should have been in jail YEARS ago. His dementia may even be worse than Biden's, but the bigger issue is that he is an idiot, a dangerously talented con man and, worst of all, a psychopath. 2.) Biden has been the best US president in my lifetime, but he is past his prime, much of his success is due to his ability to attract and select talented staff. Unfortunately, his clearly increasing physical frailty may mean that he cannot win the upcoming election, which is more of a problem with the nature of the US electorate than with Biden himself. It's sad to say, but I believe that FDR would not have been electable with today's electorate, just because of his physical handicap.
It's time for Zelenskyy to give Ukrainians the chance to vote for the direction to which the country is going. Zelenskyy himself has to answer the Ukrainian people why they are at war if a peaceful settlement was possible to negotiate.
