The one with the pleated blouse...it's a sort of budget form of Fortuny pleating. Real Fortuny pleating is very high end couture, but it gives you the same look.
I also consider 20 years old vintage, but for some reason that upsets some people. lol I was told by an antique doll seller that 20 - 99 years old can be considered vintage and 100+ years is antique so I think vintage is a fine way to describe them. 🥰
@@xCanadensis I have always called dolls and collectables vintage over 10 years old especially I personally call them vintage and even more so if there not made anymore on top of being over 10 years old. It never occurred to me either to say anything else, but vintage too. 🌿 Semantics true that don't matter much in the end because after a certain point of time all things are vintage right 🌞
I would like to see a video of you cleaning the doll with possible mold, if it's not too hard for you to film. I have several "vintage" Barbies that I recently bought and want to unbox, and I would like to know how to clean the dolls relatively safely if I encounter some spots or odours.
Hi! When you mention mould, is this what makes rubbery plastic sticky with time? If so, do you please know how to treat it? I'd like to save my childhood Island Fun Barbie. Thanks!
Hi. I have had some success with baby powder lightly on the doll legs sat for awhile wiped off then kept doing it until they were no longer sticky. That's the only solution I have tried myself, but there might be other ways.
@kottełki thanks! I bleached her. It's much better. But I'll have to replace her body anyway. She was very much loved, her neck is broken and my dog chewed on her hands. 😅
I have this Drew with the brown and pink hair but her hair is cut 😞I got her for a good deal with fashion fever accessories and furniture lot for about 30 on Facebook marketplace place so I’ll take it as a win.
if monster high can re-release their booriginal dolls, why can't they re-release these type of barbie dolls in 2024(if not the literal same doll just the quality at least)
Look at targets for the talking mh plushies check targets, I found some in one and if it helps they where in a different area not near the dolls but I’m not sure if it’s always like that
I LOVE fashion fever looks ❤ But Vintage is different from old 👁👄👁 Vintage is an old style, and usually based on classics...so much so that everything vintage is old, but NOT everything old is vintage 🤷🏻♂️ Something doesn't become vintage just because it's old 😊
I mean… if you’re referring to fashion. In collectibles vintage = out of date by around 20 years or more… Just like antique generally = out of date by 50 years or more. With the style of modern fashion dolls in question here the oldest we have are from the 60’s … which was less than 100 years ago- thus 20 years ago is a LONG time proportionally. The proper word to use here is vintage. Old is not descriptive. Old could mean 500 years or ten years depending on who you’re talking to. Vintage immediately makes people think of like… 20-50 years ago in collectibles. Which is what we’re looking at
Same problem as me..... broke doll stand 😥😢😢 but fashion fever is very very cool series of Barbie Dolls..... I love your content.... keep healthty dear 😄😄
