Once again the USA has these long stretches where they play very sloppy basketball. Missed UNCONTESTED shots within 10 feet, bad decisions on offense like taking the ball the length of the court and forcing up a horrible shot instead of passing to the open man right under the basket, dribbling the ball into double teams and forcing bad shot attempts on offense, clanging three pointes with a 34-point lead instead of focusing on scoring points in the paint, and continually double teaming and clogging up the low post leaving spot-up shooters wide open. I could go on. The only positive thing for the USA is the Croatian girls were not converting on all of their open opportunities, and the USA's defense (whenever they commit to it) was stellar, as it usually is. I am convinced these are coaching issues and USA coaches need to re-learn the game because they absolutely suck!!!.
