I was there in Orlando last month when this incurred. It was one of the worst storms I have ever been in. It was actually pretty scary for me because I live up in the North with all the mountains so when there is tornado watches I'm barely worried, but when me and my family were in this storm, I had nothing to rely on. It was either tornado, or really bad storm.
My son moved to Sarasota and my brother moved to Tampa. When I was young I spent a lot of time in Miami having a great time. However I could never live there. I don't understand anyone that lives in Florida. I find for the majority of the year it's much too hot and humid. Forces people to stay inside with air conditioning. Then they have the rain I found it to be very humid there just like when I lived in Louisiana for 4 months the humidity was crazy. Florida is also well known for its hurricanes, tornadoes I don't see the point in moving there. I would never consider it after being there many times.
I love Florida. As a native Floridian , I wouldn't live any where else. Florida is diverse , It depend's on where you are. I think a person would have to love the ocean , to love Florida.
