The Rabbi absolutely nailed it in his opening comments regarding making Aliyah. My own personal experiences corroborate everything he says. His advice is so perfect. In my case I came by myself and had absolutely nothing to lose. I now have a modest wife, a son in Talmud torah, and my own home. I now daven 3 times a day at my shul, and live in a wonderful Baal teshuva community. Seriously I had nothing when I came here, absolutely nothing! In my opinion the people that are most successful in their Aliyah are those that have no where else to go. BTW I made Aliyah the day after Yom Kippur 2006.
Shalom Rabbi I'm a baal teshuvah Jewish grandparents and Jewish mother .but I grew up in a bad neighborhood.gangs tattoos ect.😢 But I'm rectifying my ruach in this gilgulim. You are right 💯 percent product of our environment.
About Aliya? It's a case by case scenario...which is your Rebbi does he say you should or should not go. The Rav did answer if they don't have anything here...
