Thank you very much for preparing and sharing those training movies. The idea of progressive built up short movies in educational series 101,201 is awesome. It makes very good training sessions. The ~30 minutes movie where you build the medical form from scratch is very enjoyable to watch. Watching professionals @ work is very rewarding. I was amused at the various comments using the word they (referring to us, the inexperienced users). Watching the 101 series has provided me with a great boost to go back to previous forms and build them right. The fact is, by using the methods as shown in the tutorials, the design work is a lot simpler to manage as well as making a much better form. LiveCycle/AEM-Forms is a fairly obscure program with limited educational resources. Thank you again for taking the time for preparing and sharing this knowledge. Kudos for a job well done!

I'm enjoying the new tutorials and appreciate the effort you are putting into them. I've been using LiveCycle since it came bundled with Acrobat 7 Pro, and currently am still using ES4. I'm not a coder but have been able to rip and adapt script to a decent level (though I know some additional knowledge would make my code more efficient). However, is AEM Designer now only for enterprise users - this would make it inaccessible to me as our IT systems and platforms are all MS and SharePoint based. My company would not switch over to Adobe just on my say so.

David, for awhile it looked like Adobe was rebranding LiveCycle into AEM. However, the past year has seen no progress on that front. They were giving away a free copy of AEM Designer last fall, but that link is now broken. ES4 is the way to go for now. My copy of AEM 6.3 is what I am, but I don't think anyone can purchase it standalone. The principles/methods shown in the videos would apply to any version of Designer since ES2. Stick with ES4 for now. You should be ok for awhile.

Your videos have been extremely helpful! There's no way I would know how to use LiveCycle without your channel. Thank you so much for taking the time to create these videos! I've created a dynamic form, and am mostly finished; however, I am having an issue with 'Text Fields' on the master pages I've created that the end user will need to fill out. It will not be static text like the address in yours. I did this because these "headers" have to be in a certain area on the page. The problem I am having is, as expanding text fields on the main pages of the form are filled out, the text, in the text fields on the master pages change back to my default text for the field. Not sure if that makes sense. Is there a way to keep the text in the text fields on the master pages from deleting when entering text in the expanding text fields in the main page? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Not quite sure I know what is happening. I would need to see the form to give better advice. Can you contact me via the “help request” form on my blog? Thx.

These tutorials are exceptional! Thank You! Now that I have viewed them all, I'm going back to the beginning to create my 3 page Construction Change Order form while watching these videos again. Is the 201 videos out yet?

Thank you so much for sharing those tutorials!!! I asked myself why tables cannot be filled by "copy and paste" out of an Excel-tables. Could you please tell me, if there is an option to do that?

Thanks for these new tutorials, already waiting for part 201. But one question: why aren't dynamic forms preview-able in modern web browsers (Chrome, Edge,...) or in Windows Explorer ? Static PDF are well previewed just like normal MS Office files! Any workaround for dynamic PDFs ?

Good question...the quick answer is the browsers don't support it. The long answer is that dynamic pdfs are completely different than everyday/regular pdfs. The "engine" to render dynamic forms requires much more processing power. Chrome, I.E., Edge and even the iOS Reader app do not have the "engine" in them.
