Hey everyone! Quick FYI: we moved over the weekend, things have been chaotic, and the full length edit isn’t finished yet. It will post on Patreon early this week!! Thank you for your patience! ❤️❤️
My favorite part was every time you said that most of us would want to start over and was like “uh, yeah… I don’t know how she’s gonna fix that 🤔”. But then it turned out amazing! I loved it 😍
Dear Jenna I was mesmerized in the best way by this painting. Especially when you brought to life the original blue trees to pure beauties!! Thank you for bringing some calm and peace to all of us xo
Thanks Jenna, your gouache and watercolor tutorials are very detailed. This skillful combination has created a beautiful landscape painting, I am especially attracted by the color of the painting, it is so fresh and bright. Thanks for your sharing.
Beautiful Jenna! I just have to let you know that you are who sparked the fire in me to paint, especially in watercolor years ago starting on Instagram 💙 I’ve recently returned to you again for inspiration and some direction on goal setting and encouragement. I appreciate your presence online so much 💘💘
Wow. I love this painting. It is so different from the many watercolor paintings I have seen on you tube. The colors are fantastic. My favorite part is the orangy red trees in the foreground.
Absolutely Lovin' this painting! It was fun seeing you love it as it evolved! I love the colors, I love the uneveness of the margins, I love the trees going outside traditional boundaries at the bottom - love that it reminded me of the retro, pop art travel posters! Thanks, Jenna!
I’ve been wanting to paint a hockney inspired painting and you are making it easier for me to give it a go! Thanks again for your fantastic tutorials and hubby’s awesome camera skills!
Jenna I could not stop watching this video until completion. It was so amazing watching and hearing about your process. This encourages me to play more with my painting and see what evolves. Your final painting is so interesting and so fun. Thanks again for another fantastic video!!!🥰
👍👍Wow, I'm going to watch this beautiful and amazing video so well. Grow more in the future. See you in the next video....😍😍 Lively Mountain Landscape with Gouache + Watercolor Ink Tutorial
Quite a departure! Love the mention of getting to a part in the painting where you don't like it but stick with it. May have to write this week's newsletter article on that idea because true for writers, too. I love the purple mountains the orange/red/purple trees in front.
you are an amazing watercolor and gouache artist, love how you mixed in the inks and made this spectacular landscape, I can't believe how the trees turned out, at first I thought those were little trees all over the field, but then you painted in the trunks, omg so effortlessly beautiful and talented. I loved the mountains and how you made the shadows, but I just didn't seem to love the orangey color of those trees in the mountains, I thought that took so much away from the painting. I'm sorry, even so, you are so talented and I could never come even close to how far you are as an artist, I love your ease of painting. i know that if i were to try this painting it would never look the way yours does. mine would be just a scribble in comparison
Very enjoyable tutorial. I especially like hearing your thoughts as you paint. (There's that working through the ugly bit, lol.) The trees in the forefront are my favorite part, too, but using unexpected colors is also a plus. Good job, and thanks.
Just fyi! We just moved over the weekend to a new house and things have been chaotic, so it’s not up quite yet... The full length for this will be posting early this week!!
love it! This is so unusual for Jenna, it has a whole different quality to it! And who'da thunk gouache and watercolor inks!? My golly! You are displaying some of your lesser known talents! Think I'll go look at the Patreon video now. You go, girl! 🥰
So glad you love it! Just fyi: we moved this weekend and things have been wild, so the edit for the full-length isn’t finished it. It’ll be up early this week!! ❤️
LOVEEE this style of painting, so simple but lively 😍😍 Loveee all the intentional lines as it moves the eyes around the painting ❤️❤️❤️ looking forward for more tutorials like this one 😃 Tq Jenna for being my first art teacher since last year ❤️❤️❤️
Wow, love this, so different to your usual painting, the colours are gorgeous and the scene you’ve painted is fabulous .. I was given some gouache paint for Christmas but not tried using it yet, but after watching this, I’m tempted to lol 🥰
You have such a calming voice that . I was drifting off to sleep 4 times through watching this video . I am in love with Gouche paint colours & textures . I am normally an acrylic medium girl & decorative artist 👩🎨 . How will this medium go for pen & wash art pictures & I’m thinking of giving that a go . A friend of mine got into it back in the mid 80’s was cute for historic decorative antique like farm art 🖌️🖼️back then
I'm not familiar with the paints you used here so will have to check them out! I love how this turned out and I especially enjoyed hearing your thought process as you created this. Really fun!
I LOVE it ALL !!! It reminds me of the old style posters for advertising cities./travel. I liked the use of unexpected bold colors. I do wish you would show the end result just a bit longer..... Not enough time to take it all in!!! It is a beauty for sure!!!
This is so coo! I hope you make more art like this! What is the advantage to using watercolor ink vs. traditional for this style? Does it mix better with gouache?
