Keith Floyd, favourite British chef, talks through a traditional Alsace recipe for liver dumplings in this classic video from BBC food show 'Floyd on France'. More liver recipes www.bbcgoodfood...
The genius of the man sheer class, just before he passed away he claimed he had failed in his quest to make people cook more, but i disagree with the the great man, i think he inspired millions
Paul Little I couldn’t agree more Paul. I try to replicate his chicken in beer (also filmed in chef Marc’s kitchen) whenever I fancy something decent. Love the man.
I remember him coming to Malaysia and he tried cooking chili crab. He was so upset with the 1st chili crab that he did that the following day he cooked it a second time. Really top guy. Such a legend
10 years this past weekend...gone. RIP Keith. I am going to make this. He transformed the way I looked at cooking. Especially fish. And now he lives on with us forever.
I'll never forget how he inspired me to cook! I often think about his selfless humour and even he wasn't ashamed to through a pie in his own face! I'll miss him.
Does anyone know if the early BBC Floyd programs will be released on DVD? The early BBC series like Floyd on Fish, Food, France, etc. It would be great if all these would released. Those are my favorites. Maybe a campain should be started to get it all released on DVD?
i made these, kind of. i used beef liver and sausage instead of pork and bacon. and i didn't watch the whole video before i started to cook and didn't know that there was a sauce. we used chili sauce. they were great.
Not hardly. Floyd didn't have his first BBC show until 1984. There were many before. In addition, Floyd never described himself as a chef since he was untrained.
