update: Apologies, it appears as though the appointment of Arne Slot will not be as Liverpool's manager but rather as first team coach. The Dutchman will work directly with sporting director, Richard Hughes, who will be in charge of recruitment and other parts of the football department. The duo will work under the guidance of Michael Edwards, the club's new Chief Executive of Football. INTERESTING!
@@1607Adi_Manznah i think eth is still a overall bette tactical manager than slot. Eth went on a crazy run in the ucl with a mostly youth system players. Won the league. Slot is good but not better
I hope he doesn't feel afraid to implement his system. Klopp has changed Liverpool forever and will always be a legend but Slot should do things his way.
As a diehard Feyenoord fan, I think this is a great manager for Liverpool. The club’s even share the same motto: You Never Walk Alone 🤩 It’s a match made in heaven. Slot will surely be missed, but I think it’s safe to say that every fan of Feyenoord believes that Slot deserves this transfer.
I’m a Liverpool fan, although I’m quite worry cuz klopp was a very great manager and no one can replace him, I think that we’ll do well next season with this guy.
As an feyenoord fan, and a dutch person, in proud to say. You got hands on the best Dutch coach (my opinion) Fun fact. Most expensive dutch coach as well
I was so shocked when Xabi Alonso didn't take the job, I thought that was a dream move for both Parties. I'm glad to see he's staying on at Leverkusen as things are going so well there. I think it will be a tricky first season for Slot, similar to when Hodgson took over after Benitez. End of an era and start of a new one
I’ve been saying Slot is going to end up in a top 4 league since I saw him impressively lead Feyenoord to the Conference League final in his first season.
It was criminal they canceled the league for az that year, bothered me then and still bothers me now. They wont get a shot at the title like that in a long time
I’m sure the fans will give him their full support. Its not easy for anyone coming in after the great man and thus, needs to be given time to settle in and make this his team. I just hope he doesn’t try to change too much too soon as the core of the team is solid and we did better than expected considering we had basically a new midfield. As long as he wins the EPL and UCL in his first season I’m happy. Top four would be good and anything else a bonus. Salah looks to be staying so thats one less thing to worry about as he would not be easy to replace and gives Slot time to look for a long term replacement. People need to be patient and give him a chance and not prejudge him. Remember Wenger arrived at Arsenal from the J League and no one in the UK had heard of him.
Maybe the most underrated skill of Arne Slot are his superb communication skills, Liverpool is a different beast than Feyenoord ofc but i can see him do a top 4 finish in his 1st season
As a Chelsea Fan I Have To Warn Liverpool For a Chance of him being like graham Potter He Just Might Not Be Ready For The 2nd Best club in England(after Man United).
Seems a good prospect, but I’m wondering if he can keep up the momentum he made in other clubs and I also am wondering if he would suit with liverpool, as they are a big club. Bigger than his other clubs*
Different league BPL more challenging compare to dutch league hopefully he could trainour players to their great capability. Remember BPL match more schedule and challenging teams.
He brought a team to the Conference League final before so I bet he will bring Liverpool there as well. Fans might need to get used to new targets and lower aims 🎉😂🎉😢
the difference between Slot and ETH is that ETH was managing a team that's already full of talents and capable of winning trophies. Slot on the other hand, managed a Feyenoord team that's average on paperm
They settled for 3rd choice. Both Alonso and Amorin knew Liverpool need rebuilding. Getting rid of players that are injury prone, needs to sell to have a budget for buying new players because of the tight budget. Hopely Liverpool aren't back to 6th or 8th place in 3 years.
remember that Klopp only won 1 epl in almost decade, while he does won other trophies it doesn't change the fact that he only won league trophy once. the tales of wonder
