It's comic con time! My first comic con for 2024 and its Liverpool Comic Con at Exhibition Centre Liverpool by Monopoly Events
I have my Winnie The Pooh Loungefly mini backpack and my moms Lord of the Rings Loungefly bag to be signed (also another Pooh Bear bag for my friend Meg!) We went stright to Jim Cummings who is the voice of Winnie the Pooh & many more like Tigger, singins Scar, singing Rasputin from Anastasia, Pete, Darkwing Duck etc. He has always been a childhood hero of mine as Winnie the Pooh holds such a special place in my heart and he was every bit as lovely and amazing as I hoped. So sweet and I asked him for the "You're braver than you believe" quote as thats very special to me. He also told me in Pooh's voice to stay as sweet as honey 🍯 Absolutely amazingly experience!
Next was over to Elijah Wood's queue who was Frodo Baggins in Lord of the Rings, as his queue was so big it was a quick interaction for his signature on the backpack but he was so lovely too.
Had a very quick walk around the new M&S area which had a live band and so many props, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, there was a REAL MERMAID and she was stunning! and Bumblebee from Transformers too!
Back into Billy Boyd's queue who playyed Pippin Took, he did have a second breakfast too! 🤣 then over to Dominic Monaghan who was Merry Brandybuck, he again was also very lovely and a joy to meet.
After that I had some time to go around the blue venue and the venodr stalls, plenty of Loungefly backpacks, Disney merch, Marvel, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Anime and more. I saw some stunning cosplay and cannot wait for the next one. I spent most of my time in a queue as I had a few people to meet but they are what you make them and its so lovely to meet people and make friends in the queues too!
