Slott may be new to the league and think he can get by with a smaller squad in a potentially 50 plus game season. The club ,Edwards etc know the premier league and know that its a big risk they have been here before they know about jota etc ,is everyone going to act surprised when we are struggling with injuries and fatigue lol. Klopp had to eventually realise he needed a big squad to compete
The domestic cups are B competitions and a waste of energy. Let ETH have them. Klopp focused on the league and CL in his first 5 or 6 years to great success.
As long as Liverpool spend the money they are taking in to improve the squad, then there's no complaints. If they bring in lots of money without buying players, it shows where their mindset is.
first Arne Slot is not " manager" only a head coach who has no say about signings and outgoins , The incompetent fraud r.hughes is the SD and responsible for outgoings and incomings NOT slot. second we all rate the squad but this squad has no DM for 3 years and no incomings until now , and with this squad LFC where 3 in the table under J. Klopp , and to say J. Klopp was not able to bring more out from this bunch of players or suggest it , is disappointing from all of this reds ....#FSGOUT
Neil's expectations are always based on nothing! This is a transitional season, it should be accepted. IF Jurgen got the VERY best out of the squad last season and we were 9 points behind a city team then why on earth would we swing that number our way. Accept this season for what it is, top 4 and a good run in the champions league - that is success in Slots first season..
His expectations are judged in last season and the fact the previous manager got plenty wrong in that time and he’s hopeful the new coach can fix those issues you melt.

Neil is pretty good to be fair. When klopp had his full squad back with the easiest run in, and they were top of the league klopp did his annual collapse. Not sure why that happened but he did it at least 5 seasons when he was in charge.
