'I'm not near you' continues walking towards you lol. Where do they find these people for security work? I learned the hard way doing the doors that you get a better reaction by simply speaking to most people like they are human! Yes in some cases you need to do more, but most of the time people just need a decent chat and attitude. Being an asshole will instantly get someone's back up! Clown world.
I'm always astonished at how effective good cop/bad cop (or in this case good security/bad security) is with auditors and Charlie. When a cop or security realizes that being a jerk doesn't work, one of their colleagues comes along and gets people to do what they want by acting friendly. This time it was to get Charlie to move behind some arbitrary point. Auditors and Charlie never seem to realize they've had the oldest game in the cops' book played on them.
I got a notification for it last night...and then the video weren't there when I went to view.. assuming yt had a problem with it for some reason and Charlie boy has had to re edit it.
They just can't resist dishing out orders to give them a power trip. Even when you moved behind the grid, the "nice" guard insisted you didn't photograph people.
Actually, that grate is a French drain and is placed there most likely because it's the low spot in the courtyard and has nothing to do with it being a demarcation where one can record legally.
He thought by claiming you swore at him would give him an advantage in the “confrontation”. So he heard you say Ass and made a desperate attempt to accuse you of swearing lol mind boggling and pathetic.
the law is specific about filming inside and outside court buildings, the terms " inside the building" and " within the precinct of the court building " are used in the Law which can technically include outside space that is part of the property or part of the building, so in Law you could be arrested for filming outside a court building if you were standing on an area that is within the property line, which is what happened last year to another Auditor called A.B. He got arrested and charged and fined for filming outside a court building, he was not inside, but he was within the property line and he had refused to stop filming and pointing his camera through the glass doors.
AB ended up being fined for exactly the same thing though he refused more I believe. It isn't hard to look up these things and should be common sense in most cases, even Marti B and his trolls were banned for 5 years from filming at courts with their CBO 😂
When was this recorded Charlie, cos I was on jury duty all this week and saw film crews recording past that line.Gutted I missed you keep up the great content.👍👍
Auditing Britain, AB, got sentenced, due to filming around a court building. It’s i criminal matter, as “justice” has a higher protection in society, jury members in particular shall not be photographed, named or published. So, their protection stretches outside the building too, “the perimeters”.
I liked it when you shouted and he said why are you shouting, and you said calm down charlie calm down it just confused him and defuse him, brilliant. 😄
Having worked in the legal profession for many years let me explain a few things. The security guard was “probably” trying to explain where the Court precinct boundary is as it can be anywhere a judge deems it to be. If the security guard had half a brain he would politely explain the “grid” is by convention where it is. If the Court precinct is “the grid” - by filming the other side of it you could be committing Contempt of Court.
Well there has to be significant signage to let people know, otherwise you would have to criminalise every person walking past that has a camera phone in their pocket or people taking selfies etc etc. If the security can’t articulate the boundaries either, then any charges are null and void.
S41, Criminal Justice Act 1925: "a photograph, portrait or sketch shall be deemed to be a photograph, portrait or sketch taken or made in court if it is taken or made in the court-room or in the building or in the precincts of the building in which the court is held, or if it is a photograph, portrait or sketch taken or made of the person while he is entering or leaving the court-room or any such building or precincts as aforesaid." A judge can arbitrarily define the 'precinct' to include the area outside the court entrance, regardless of whom owns the land. I'd be careful if I were you!
@10:40 technically it could be a criminal offence IF you took a photo/video of a judge, witness or jury member. The Criminal Justice Act 1925, which specifically addresses photography and sketching in court and its PRECINCTS covers this. This law can restrict filming activities in certain circumstances. As you were in the precinct of the court they could potentially argue this. Saying all that the first security guard acted like a neanderthal.
It's funny cause when you go down south London and knock on a door with a Scouse accent they immediately close the door lock it and ring 999 . . . . A few moment later , Porsche been nicked out of drive , even court security in Liverpool are probably drug dealing as a side job . What a place . We ❤️ Liverpool .
It's a security job requirement to have a low IQ, be a thug, and be a sociopath. Let's just be grateful these morons do have low IQ's, or else they would be in positions of power.
Court boundary is actually determined by the judge and can extend past the court doors. So you could have been inside the court even if you are outside the building and be done for contempt, technically.
@@Youremywifenkwdave Its actually a part if the 1925 Courts Act, it prohibits filming within the precincts of a court, this includes land attached to that court, so its not shite, just people lacking education on what or where you can film or photograph.
@@Youremywifenkwdave The press have a code of ethics, the public don't, but they should be following Article 10 of the 1998 HRA but when you don't, you end up breaking laws.
"so long as you're not filming people exiting the building" - what do they think happens in high profile court cases? Hundreds of photographers film everybody - victims, witnesses, lawyers, suspects, staff leaving the building.
Security guard "what you swearing for"....they always come out with that crock of shit....ive had someone say that to me when i didnt swear ..im like WHHAT....the witnesses laughed and the crowd got bigger. hahahaha. Love your channel Charlie. Thanks for sharing
Yea muppet that security guy but that’s most of them in most city’s. Apart from that Liverpool is amazing looking city I knew it had some nice buildings but wow it really is a underrated city,
0:16 I used to live in that building on sanky street when they first built it. Apartments were beautiful and a steal at £650 a month. The rents probably double that now.
That Charles wasn't hansom as the Veitch variety 😁👍. Bloody misery guts. Start arming yourself with some good one liners Charles, then get your big RU-vidr a-s-s back and make these buggers laugh a little. 🤣😂👍
here is a recent clip of an auditor being given a Criminal Behaviour Order that prevents him filming within the pavement boundary line of Court Property ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_uT22oM2Owg.html So now the precedent has been set in Law that could get you arrested if you cross the outside boundary line and decline requests or instructions to stop filming.
Sorry Charlie but you are going a bit too frauditor, you need to understand the law and follow it rather than breaking it. As someone has already said, its a part of the 1925 Criminal Justice Act, it is a criminal act filming within the precinct of a court (which includes the attached land of that court). It will only ever get you in trouble, and remember, you should be following Article 10 of the 1998 HRA (its worth reading in its entirety). And the simple rule when doing photography is, when in doubt out and about, don't do it.
I live in Liverpool the standards has slipped communication levels from professional people are on par as a wet fish. That security guard spoken to you outside the court was totally unprofessional. Have space between us his response was "whatever"🤣 Seen the news media here his response was "No you haven't" 🤣
So if you stand behind the grid, but have a very long selfie stick, leaning right in towards the building, that's OK?. As long as your foot is behind the line, like a tennis player about to serve.🤪
give a wagie a uniform hi vis jacket and a photo id and they will tell any one you like "NOT ALLOWED" 4:22 it wouldn't be an episode with out a jobsworth in uniform (he looks like he sniffs kids)
