The defending was awful. If Palace had been able to finish they would have won this by a mile. The defending was like watching 10 yr olds - CBs headers out barely making the edge of the box, when crosses came in defenders were leaden footed and timid in challenging, and marking was all over the place. Shambolic. What sort of coaching are these lads getting ??? On a brighter note, Kaide Gordon looks to be in great nick (Scored a brilliant goal, and a poacher’s special, plus could and should have scored when he ran from his own half right through onto the keeper but his effort was saved) and Trey Nyoni’s goal was an absolute belter.
