@@mother-of-all-things-esc Yes it does! Sadly I've never touched a Gran Turismo game cause I've had an Xbox, so Forza is the only thing close to that, but I've seen some awesome liveries from that game!

Imo, Midnight Club LA had the best vehicle customization in any racing came, and while TSW2's vehicle customization isn't bad, it could use some improvements.

I dont think tsw has that great of a customization

Or a brightline livery since Florida's inter city rail network is brightline

Same here... I recently had the idea to make a livery based on the 1986 XPT livery that the peeps over in NSW, Australia had... You can tell the era this livery was used, but MAN does it look cool! Anyways, I looked into the livery editor but couldn't find it and I even asked a different RU-vidr how to unlock it as I thought you needed to do something to unlock said locomotive... But I found out not long after that the "legacy" stuff is straightup not compatiable! Now allegedly there ARE working on that according to a forum post, but since I have not found an official source citing this; take it with a pinch of salt... I hope they do though, even if they have to make special models for the HST in particular to work... It's really annoying as it stands! ^^" EDIT: I found that Dovetail does roadmaps, and in a very recent one (26/01/21), they are infact working on the problem, and can be found under ""[Improvement] Livery Designer compatibility for Preserved Collection"! Only time will tell how complex this is but it is good news regardless! =)

I am hoping you can create similar custom liveries for ACS-64s (as AMTRAK is not alone in using them - MBTA and MARC, for example). And I am also looking at custom MARC liveries - such as a wrap-type ACS-64 livery - or liveries.

I hope we can share liveries and decals like forza

Yeah, the scenario planner compared to the one in TS2020 is pretty disappointing

GWE 'preserved collection' version will be available on TSW2 eventually. On release the TSW2020 routes that can be used are Peninsula Corridor, East Coastway and Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr. There's only one route that isn't being 'ported' across.

From now on, TSW1 and TSW2020 will not be getting updates or DLC.

Yes, but with a German cab, German safety systems etc. still it's cool that the option is there to drive freight on the line

In theory you could but the thing is your train has to be only the length or less of any station you're stopping at (ex: you can't use a 176m train formation even when only one of the stations you are stopping at is 175m) and all ICE formations are longer than any tube station in the game. And no, Off The Rails unfortunately does not solve this, which is stupid. I hope they change this.

Preserved TSW content is not compatible with the livery designer, so making liveries on electrostars won't be possible until Southeastern Highspeed releases, as that'll come with a 375

They said on a livestream that an update is being worked on that includes showing hex colour values, so that will make it infinitely easier to colour match across a unit, and indeed across different trains entirely

That's what most people assumed would replace the 38 Stock trains before they announced it will be D Stock trains

Isle of Wight line is coming for TSW2, so would be interesting to see what rolling stock they'll include, and with the scenario designer, it means we can have the 72 stock running on it, and using the livery designer you can add the Isle of Wight livery to it
