Is livestock farming not a part of Agriculture????

Why not ministry of human life development, it's seen that we never move away from core northern ideology where most of the people values animals more than human being ?

I think the President has taken the right step in the right direction to create the Ministry of Livestock Development because this will stop the resentment of laws and regulations across the board in the 36 States and the FCT. It is long overdue that the livestock business to be overhauled since there has been crisis with Farmers and the herders. Agriculture is already being modernized in the North part of the country and they have enough land to operate modern livestock industry side by side and this will boast the economy of the region as we see in countries like Brazil and Australia noted for Livestock farming. Of course the opposition to the government will criticize the move forgetting that the new Ministry will create jobs and specialization. The move by the president is an undisputed move towards the decades old problem between the farmers and the herders. The herders must recognized that their occupation is now a recognized industry in the country that they should be very proud of. The move by the government is to their advantage as the business will flourish more with sustainable support from both the government and the private sector.
