Well your doing ok and it's not about a dog being cute it's about you being the boss and your showing him the right way now. Great job of teaching him now . Godbless yall my friends
The little guy sure seems to have the right temperament around the livestock . Not barking or making quick moves , which might cause stress to your animals and might get him hurt . You guys are on top of it , he'll be fine . God Bless !
I am so impressed with how clean you keep your chicken coop and how well maintained your farm looks. Many decades ago my grandparents had a junky looking chicken farm. They told me that one day they decided that they wanted a place that they could be proud of so they vowed to never go to or from any spot on the farm without picking up, putting away or throwing away that which didn’t belong. It took them awhile but by the time I was old enough to pay attention they had a beautiful farm and your property reminds me of their farm. Ingenious to have friends and family save their scraps for your pigs. Moses has a great temperament, very chill for a puppy. Gold Shaw Farms Toby dog was very much the same way when Morgan brought him home and he has become an awesome LGD.
He's such a cool looking dog too. Love the markings. He looks like he is going to do just fine. Hope he turns out to be an awesome guard for the animals. God bless you all and keep you safe
Moses is just the cutest! He seems to be doing well. I loved it when he licked the pig’s nose. I think he will turn into a good LSG dog. Can’t wait to see more of his progress. Your peppers are doing amazing. Good job y’all! I’m ready for the next video. Blessings, Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. Worth, Texas 🇨🇱🇺🇸👍❤️🥰🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
It's always best to start a puppy out sooner than later . I am not versed in the guardian dogs, but have raised more puppies than I can remember. He did very well today. Great job guys! God Bless
Moses looked at the chicken and sat down. The pigs and him was fun to watch. That momma goat was in charge of her yard. I think Moses is doing great so far and I love his markings. Your garden is gorgeous. Good to see you two plus one. God bless and stay safe 🙏❤
For being a puppy you can see the training is paying off he stays right there with u and listens for a puppy he is so cute, wow that big buck looks like he spit the little buck out they look like twins I think Moses is going to work out just fine congrats 💜
Your doing great with taking Moses around the animals and showing him that they are part of the family. There is two methods you can do to nip the behavior in the butt. First one get a shock collar with the beeper on the side with about 10 levels of corrections. We have used this method on the lowest setting to train pups with using the beep first and once you correct them once or twice they get the hint. You can keep the collar on him then if he gets bored and start chasing the animals you hit the beep and he will back off them. The second is a choker collar ( no pull collar) while you have him on a leash, put him on a long leash and while you are doing chores let him roam around and if he needs corrected just give the leash a simple tug. Just make sure the collar is on correctly, the right way is once you tug on the leash it will tighten up but once you let go of the leash the slack will loosen back up on the collar ( this is important) so follow the directions on the collar. Have a Great Day, GOD BLESS
I am going to predict that videos with Moses will be popular for a good while. He's adorable and that face OH ! his markings make his face to compelling. God Bless you all.
There’s a sticker on one of those apples that the pigs were eating. Those sneaky things! ☺️ Moses is so sweet, he’s such a good boy already! I’m amazed by how unfazed he seems by all of the other much larger animals! 😂
I'm glad Moses is doing so well. We had a rottweiler that healed to the back rightside of our horse. He would go on walks with us and stayed where he was supposed to. Dogs love to please!
Moses is a brave pup, he'll make a great guard dog. He still would go up to the goats, but when the doe dipped her head to but him he backed up. He wasn't scared of the pigs, but he was very aware of them.
I know you have heard this before but, Moses is so darn cute , it puts a smile on my face to see him . He obviously loves you guys . I know you will do a good job training him , getting him use to the animals on the farm is a great idea you’ll have a great dog in the end . Thx for allowing us to come along. 💕💕
He’s doing GREAT guys, I think ya got a good dog. I was thinking when he was smelling the pigs ear, yummm pig ears lol. But keep bringing him around the animals as mush as possible, we’ve had to get rid of three different dogs because they kept going after the chickens. The more they are around them and getting used to them the better they will be with them, and your right get after them right away if they get to rough. But also make sure they’re not just playing with them, our new pup went after our rooster last night and I thought she was trying to hurt it but she was only playing. I guess the rooster and her have been playing together the last couple days. It’s funny because she’s a pug shitzu mix not a watch dog by any means. But it’s funny when the roosters get on the hens she thinks they’re hurting them and comes to the rescue.. but another great video guys...... stay safe my Vet Brother.....God bless....
Your garden has done so well this year, you've put a lot of work into it. Moses is cute, he seems pretty clever around the animals and doesn't try to chase them and I see no reason that should change as he becomes more mature.😊
Your pup has an amazing temperament! I love how he follows right along with you as you go through the paces on your farm, with all the different animals. I think you're off to a fantastic start with him.
Your doing a great job with Moses! And introducing him to all your Animals is key & so he eventually will know his job to protect those Animals! Thanks for sharing! Much Love & God Bless Ya'll
Awww! Well Moses heels well when he walks with Jacob...sort of...LOL. Looks like he's got a good temperment though. Can't wait to see what a good guard he becomes. Keep up the good work you two.💜
I think Moses is going to be a wonderful boy. He is just too cute. I think you are teaching him just right. Keep up the good work. Your farm is looking good too.
Gosh, he's so calm an laid back around the other animals! Once he masters walking at heel as opposed to on heel, he'll be awesome! 😂😂😂😂 He's doing great, curious but not excitable. Not to mention he's so darn cute, gorgeous markings!
Moses is very calm for a puppy his age. No barking, or chasing or nipping at the animals! I think you've got a really good start on a really good dog!! The first 2 yrs will tell the tail😉. Good luck. I know he couldn't have a better home 🤗
I loved it as you were headed across the pasture to go visit the animals and Moses was out in the lead as if he knew exactly where he was going then he suddenly turns back to look at Jacob as if to say "Am I going the right way". totally cute. Even at a young age Moses has confidence and with training is going to be a great guardian. Love those banana peppers. There so good on sandwiches and pizza. Hugs to all
You guys are doing a great job with Moses. The livestock need to get use to him along with him getting use to them. I think he will do a good job. He is not afraid and that is a plus.
I love the name Moses. He seems to be very relaxed around the farm . yea he did whimper a lil but y'all were right there with him. I think he will be a great guard dog.
Smile Jacob....did you just get pulled out of bed! LOL!🤣 The puppy is so cute! Look how he loves to walk on Poppa's heels! AWE! Alex , I think your in charge of this video! Poppa's still asleep! 🤣 Love y'all, just kidding around. Hope Y'ALL HAVE A BLESSED DAY! 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤❤🇺🇲🇺🇲💙🐐🐓🐥🐖🛏🛏🛏⛵⚓
@@SawyerRidgeFarm I know! Lol. I've heard you laugh a time or two! Specifically at Jason, lol! I still think you should have won that contest, imitating Jason! LMAO, pardon the expression, but I did, I could breathe!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 How many out takes were there, you couldn't have had a straight face the whole time! LOL🤣🤣🤣
What a good natured dog, so sweet. Glad for you! Thank you for sharing his introduction to everyone, bless his heart getting a head-butt by the goats, lol. God Bless Ya'll ❤️
Hey guys good to see you and your new baby he’s just to cute that name sure fits him. My nephew a d my great nephews and great niece there last name is Moses. Has he been educated on the electric ⚡️ fence yet ?? Oh that hurts. God Bless both of you and moses🙏🙏🙏🌻🌻🌻😍😍😍
Moses is just as cute and chill as he can be. Farm and animals are growing and looking good; happy. I think Moses will be a huge asset to the farm, too. Wish you would have gotten one of his siblings too though...as a playmate and I think your farm is big enough & could use 2 LGD's...just my opinion though. Your peppers and garden are going gang busters..time to harvest soon, I'd agree! Our garden is also doing very well, too.. Have a blessed day Alex and Jacob!
We have a Great Pyrenees LGD. He is now a year old. He was actually born in the barn with goats on a working goat farm. For the first 6 months he ate, slept and played with his goat herd. Our big problem now is doesn’t want to stay with his herd. He wants to patrol our whole property. Which is nice but we prefer him in the fence with his herd. We have a high enough fence he can’t jump. But he goes in the barn and jumps over the goat door and is free. It is a ongoing learning for both of us. Good luck with yours.
We had a Great Pyrenees for a very short time. And it did the same thing. It was getting out of the pasture and wondering back to it’s old home down the road (Jacob’s parents house). So we just let it go back to its old home. They are roamers for sure.
Those pigs sure love table scraps and kitchen leftovers. We have one pig and I add a little water to my table scraps. He sure loves to slurp and suck that “slop” and food up I’ve made for him. Moses is doing great. I love your videos.
Moses = cute! Your garden is looking much happier, looks like you've had a few rain storms. I love how much a garden perks up after God waters it! -much love y'all ~Mary & fam in NJ
Moses, is doing very well with all the animals and he stayed close to you as well. I think he is going to be a great LGD and he's a cutie >3...wishing you all the best and God bless.
That little dog is going to be amazing for your farm. Jason Crocker gave you a good pup his mom is a beautiful dog. I pray that he turns out to be the best dog you ever had. Some dogs seem to have human souls.
He's such a cutie.. By introducing him to each of your lifestock, with you by his side, tells your lifesstock, he maybe small, but he holds a high important in the tecking order with the humans and the farm. So, you better be nice to Moses, or else your going to have a hard time on the 🚜 farm. Fantastic training exercise and introduction to all the farm animals. G-D Bless and Stay Safe. Kisses to Moses 💋.
Great job cowboy Jacob and Erin! Little Moses is growing fast and learning about the animals. He seems like he's a fast learner. Though he's still very young I believe so far he's looking great to becoming a good LGD. One thing is for sure he's sure a cute little guy. Nice looking peppers! I've had peppers coming out of my ears too. I've been giving mine away to family as time has gone on to avoid having so many. My tomatoes has been another story. Once again I tried to braid the garlic. Once again It looked awful so I just gave up. I tied them into bundles and gave them to the kids.
Moses get's a big Texas high 5 ! Loved the butt head 🤣 I know the goat is letting him know who is boss, it's another way of saying I like you ❤ Butt head's from my fur kid's are love and to each other. Your going to do just fine training him, may the Lord bless your harvest this year, you have a beautiful set up, I love banana peppers. Great video, Jesus bless you and your family 🕊
I had a Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler cross pup once and put it in with a baby lamancha buck. (Probably a week old) That little buck tried to kill the pup. It butted the pup 3 times before I could grab it back out. I tried again a couple days later and the same thing happened. The little buck should have been a bottle baby, but refused to take a bottle and I had to tube feed him. I only had him for a week and sold him. So your doe just butting Moses once was pretty good. Another good video, keep them coming. Have a good day.
