Oh, what a game they play! I daresay that very little of that art is actually worth much, artistically speaking. I also daresay that very few in that room actually know much about art. Really, it is a game of "Greater Fool", spending immense sums because wealthy bidders have been told what names to "invest" in. But we all know this already. Most of this art is little more than cartoons, and I do not mean that in the classical meaning of the term.

i ' m mad on those who think they know how real art should look like, but not for u or me to decide what art really is u can just have your own opinion about it. Cause i know some today's artists with super realistic art skills they spend up to 500 hours on painting and then they can't sell even for 500$ , cause they just have only hand full of work in the portfolio, + not the art itself are valuable but the artists story behind it and how it was presented to the masses. And every artist who is practising art more then 10 years or more like me can make amazing realistic artworks but they chose not to do course only few art works in the portfolio is a bad representation for the artist. So todays artist is concentrated on idea , story and marketing parts more than mastering art technique and that's really is the most important when u find yourself in somme balance between all the things what is the most important for each artist.
