I don't like sqlite since I mostly do projects with huge databases (tens of millions of rows in a table, etc.) and sqlite can't handle it. I can imagine it doing okay on small projects, but that's just not the reality of my use cases.
Livewire has turned PHP into what many long-time developers think, "Messy code", an incredible number of methods to achieve things that would be more efficient with a Front written in JavaScript (React, Vue, Angular...). In addition to consuming the server in a very inefficient way to render HTML from the server, in the end they will need to learn JS and when they face tests with tools like JMeter they will realize that this is not a solution to even consider.
Hi Nuno, Thank you for this great explanations. I have question about Jetstream and Breeze. Why will these two starter kits won't be merged. In Jetstream I love the profile page with 2FA and session handling, but I hate the intransparent Fortify with hidden controllers. While Breeze adds simple addition Auth.php to router. The team functionality could be extracted in a separate extension.
