The so-called open source company only be open when they think it can get money, when they find it still can earn if close souce , there is no doubt that they will do it .

But one input...maybe you should diverge from servo/motor base joint and go with mcbicken muscle system instead. i guess i this current day we don't need this kind of motion but the "Humanoid" as we phrase should perform humanlike motion. A good example to this the @clone project or Ziva Dynamics simulation.
Congratulations. I do wish you discussed your take on human robot safety and ethics. It won’t be long until this technology can be used for good but also for unethical uses. Strongly encourage you to speak up on how robots will not cause harm to others, their environment or to themselves. Further more the philosophical questions are important. Any reasonably intelligent thing will eventually realize it is serving a master and if we look to history, servants will rebel against the master. Shouldn’t we be thinking ahead about what it means to have freedom of thought, freedom of expression, freedom to be. Perhaps we will need to instill the value of freedom in the intelligent machines we will create and that may mean these creations will need to be of free will as well.

I noticed your robot does not have a rotating waist. Atlas (Boston Dynamic) has the agility to do a lot of different actions. Atlas is designed to be future killing machines/robots. I hope your robot can be used in military as well. Jumping, somersault, flipping, martial arts actions, these will be Atlas’ acts of lethal strikes.
Most of household chores are done by women, it would make sense to get more female engineers involved in your robot project. There is a huge demand/shortage of healthcare staff, I hope your robot can help the world. Population aging is a problem.
