Each movement of "LiveWire" is meant to reflect a different feature of brain behavior. The first movement focuses on the automated neural networks that our daily contact with the world. Two of the dancers are wearing mobile brain-body imaging equipment; with data from the caps is displayed on a monitor and also abstracted in the dance's lighting design--among the first time this has ever been done.
