I bought one from Rock City Harley Davidson in Little Rock, Arkansas on 16 August. My phone wouldn’t pair with the system despite trying for over an hour. Then, when I went to ride it home, the service manager told me it had a recall that just came out (Recall #1003) and I couldn’t take it home. They were supposed to have the replacement parts shipped out this week, but one still hasn’t arrived as of 23 August. I’m leaving the country for work for 9 days, so hopefully when I get back I can ride my brand new bike I paid $17,000 for.
I test rode one. Incredible bike. My only issue is the cost. It's 16k before taxes and other fees. i explored the Future Forward option and they want $3000 down and a monthly of just under $300 for 36 months. Thats just too much to lease a bike and the warranty is 24 months leaving 1/3rd of the lease out of warranty.
Yes, a factory warranty adjustment is standard fare. Just turned in our 7th leased vehicle, none were not fully covered by the factory during our leasing periods.
Awesome review! I realize you and yours aren't operating a professional motorcycle review channel, so buying yet another bike seems unlikely. Still, maybe Livewire could see fit to have you or Preston do a long term review of the Mulholland with a press bike. Love your channel, glad to see some new content!
Thanks for the kind words. Preston already has over 3000 miles on his Del Mar. He is using the bike as his primary transportation and he’s really enjoying it. I keep encouraging him to do a review based on the mileage he’s got on the bike so far. I’ll keep putting a bug in his ear!
@@freedomiseverything the DC fast charging is really nice. When I charge the bike overnight at home even at level 1 speeds it’s charged by the next morning, so the level 2 charging wasn’t that big for me. I was wondering if the lighter s2 platform makes it feel more nimble. If not I really like my hd LiveWire.
Does it have both 17”? I read that the front was 19” and the back was 17”. Awesome motorcycle. Thanks for your quick take. LiveWire has some terrific designers. (But their marketing is still puzzling.)
I made a mistake about the front wheel size. The marketing is pretty funny. The first thing I wanted to do when I got on the bike was to go to the florist and tie flowers to the seat!!!
@@freedomiseverything No worries. Wasn’t that video funny? They have a badass bike that will outrun and outturn anything on the road - and so they show it trundling to the flower shop. Touch. And go. Too funny. They released a slightly better video today - at least the new one shows the bike. Now, I’d like to see one of riders actually twisting on the real Mulholland. Maybe you and your son can star in that one. Thank you for your videos!!
What is the near and distant future of Type2 charging in the Public domain? P.S. LiveWire EV won't address this inquiry. Thank you for sharing, Ride Free
You came to the wrong channel. Thank you for your insightful comment. Pro tip: Next time you stumble on an electric vehicle channel, don’t click “play”.
@@ChitFromChinola I watched to perhaps comment and drive some common sense to the nit-wits who waste their money on these RC toys that lose their value faster than a Ford Mach-E I rather put wheels on my Microwave.
@@freedomiseverything 2023 Rocket-3R, and 2023 Ducati Monster SP THE Rocket 🚀 is a Torque pulling nuclear powered beast, and the Ducati Carves corners like a Micro-Tech switchblade. I get more range from my Whirlpool refrigerator than I would with that Electric RC lump you promote. 🤮
Gas bikes are too slow. I like acceleration. Plus, bikes like Del Mar are faster in the canyons. Gas bikes are for posers who don’t know how to ride and would rather make loud noises…
@@freedomiseverything “Gas bikes too slow”, Dude, what planet are you on, and how fast do you really or can go ,??, You sound like you’re back in Middle School with the How Fast Schtick. You $ound like a Paid Hack for this Turkey, low range POS toy. , Try again. 🤡
@@bacorable It's definitely not a touring machine and it's definitely not a toy. For "non-touring" performance cruising, there is no gas bike that can match it. Instant torque is king. Shifting is a stupid waste of time and energy that subtracts from the ride.
