Pamela goes on a date...with disastrous results.
“Livin’ On a Prairie” is a 6 episodic short comedy written and starring Pamela Bob, and co-produced with Bob and Cut&Dry Films.
We are introduced to Pamela, a woman in her late 30s, socially awkward, misunderstood and stuck in a world that is going on without her. Her only escape to solace, safety, nurturing and love is also the same crutch that prevents her from connecting to the rest of the world: Little House on the Prairie.
She is an uber fan of the un-coolest TV show of the 1970s-early 1980s, and yet its simple messages of community, family and unconditional love is her drug of choice.
This is a show about being in recovery and rejoining life.

"Livin' On a Prairie" was an official selection for the Tribeca TV Festival and Winner of the Best TV/WEB series for the IndieFEST, Hollyweb, LAIFFA, Best Shorts and Paris Lift-Off Global Network Festivals. Bob also won Best Actress for the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.

You are brilliant ! This is hysterical. I can totally relate ! I am 53 years old and , although I grew up watching Little House, I have rediscovered the show and have become obsessed with it. LoL. It seems everything I do or say now relates to a LHOP episode. My wife calls me down for “supper” now. My kids just shake their heads. LoL ! Thanks again ! I thought I was the only one.

My thoughts exactly! 😂 I get asked what shows I like so often and I always tense up because they’re expecting me to say a modern show lol Because of your series I’m a lot more brave in telling people I LOVE little house and it’s a lot more amazing than what they are picturing it’s like and it’s actually the best show ever! Thank you for being so creative and putting all of these series and interviews together! They are amazing! 🤩

Totally representative of my Manic side. I have done this same type of thing arguing the greatness of 80s sitcoms different strokes and family ties and punky Brewster had some shizz go down. You got clown r$##, well we have a perverted bicycle man, 2 kidnappings, and more in different strokes. Death, alcoholism, drugs, SA, and living with a young Republican in a liberal family.. and poor punky.. no I can't even... Prairie is the best of the hour long dramas hands down.. but the 80s sitcoms had deep shit happening to kids. They wouldn't put those into modern sitcoms and that's sad. We learned a lot from the "very special episodes".
