Hi Jemma! I also have IBS and found out you can make garlic or onion infused oils for cooking because the fructans in them that bother IBS tummies are only water soluble not fat soluble. You get the flavor without the tummy upset !! Home made only lasts a couple days in the fridge though due to botulism risk- but you can buy commercially made ones that are shelf stable (you may need a friend or family member state side to send them to you). You can also use chives and the dark green top parts of leeks and green onions without any issue since they are lower in fructans than the white parts of the plants. I use green onions in my sandwiches in place of regular onions all the time. Highly recommend!! Hope this helps ❤
3:40 I’m British and my school canteen sometimes does Enchiladas, they actually do a lot of cultural food which is great. I think it’s just your friend missing out tbh 😂🤨
Jemma, I am a long time subscriber, i found another channel of yours i believe back in 2014 when you still had scene content on there?! xD I really loved all of your cover videos, your voice is so beautiful!! Honestly, i would watch you make content on literally anything, you're so sweet & cheery & just a lovely ray of sunshine! I'm so proud of you for moving to Japan!!! Please enjoy your first CHERRY BLOSSOM SEASON THERE!!! 🌸💗🎀 You're the cutest ever! 💖🙏🏻
I have watched a few videos of you today and i really enjoyed them ❤ i wear lolita myself and it would be amazing to go shopping in Japan one day. You are really brave for moving to Japan on your own!
Bro I visited Japan for like a week, and I have curly hair and ran out of deodorant so it was a huge problem for me. If anyone in this comment section is planning to visit Japan, make sure to bring deodorant (it’s really hard to find. I happened to get lucky and find some, but it didn’t work that well because it wasn’t necessarily something to prevent odor, it was something to prevent sweat, because a lot of Japanese people have odorless sweat.) 💀
After moving to the uk from America yeah they don’t have any “Mexican” food they do but not much they sell old elPaso and they sell cholula but anything else that’s labelled “Mexican” or “Tex Mex” is so bad! It’s usually too sweet or completely incorrect Tesco’s sells bbq ribs and they labelled it “Tex Mex” I died it was hilarious! I just make my own now though
I think a lot of the Mexican shops we have in the UK, they’re little family owned, not well known ones, or Taco Bell counts. If I wanted Mexican food and couldn’t find a shop that made it, I’d just look for a recipe online and buy the ingredients needed tbh.
@@tirotastic Ive only been to one place other than Taco Bell but I’m still on the hunt! I live in Oban so there is nothing here other than what Tesco sells lol I do crave a lot of Mexican food though and I definitely agree looking up a recipe is the way to go 😊
can confirm.. the Mexican food in Uk is not common at all aaaa ... but we have had a few taco bells open recently !! I haven't had one tho !! (╥﹏╥) I have had a quesadilla in London and it was rlly yummy ... but it cannot compare to the variety and taste in the US ;;; v ;; 💔 Your vlogs are so lovely I'd love to see more, if it's something you wanna make more of (˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )づ♡ thank u for taking us around Jemma....!!

I am from UK and can't wear lolita in the outside world except anime or comic convention. I will make sure to wear them when I visit Japan and just enjoy myself without worrying about it. Thanks for the advice.
