used to live in an apartment right across market market. BGC was always a saturday morning walk. sundays were always a free day to roam around. i glorified it for a few weeks but eventually, BGC became such an empty place. I started seeing it as a place where people just walk to work and come home at night, a vicious routine. and then i got lost in all of it and decided to go back to Laguna. theres nothing fundamentally wrong about living in this area, it's very convenient and dfeinitely less chaotic compared to Manila, but BGC can be a ghost paper town sometimes. just thought you should know since you mentioned you're 50/50 about living in BGC in the future.

Planning to move out of my parent’s home too in 2 months time. I kept getting recommendations from youtube of your videos and at first I ignore them because I thought that like the kasanayan ‘study vloggers’ they aren’t so relatable, authentic, and far out of reach in terms of ‘practicality’. I can’t blame them for their lives rin naman being privilged enough to be fully supported pero instead kase ma motivate ka parang na prepressure ka that their lifestyle is normal because most of the ones I have watched before parang same lang talaga ang pattern. I understand rin that mostly kase without responsibilities at home or at work but focused masyado sa aesthetic value ng lifestyle and videos. So that’s why I love your videos, they feel so real, truly motivating, the ramblings (keep it coming girl), the little notes about cooking and living alone you include in your subs, less apologies for being messy and having to explain further yourself. It’s like everyone has their own reason for doing things as they do but we can choose what we share or not, what we apologize for or not, and I appreciate that you show those actualized characteristics of your life having done the independent living for long. The editing is also simple and not monotonous, the routines may be consistent at times but I understand that ‘same old routine’ as I wfh also. What I just really like is that balance taste you have in life and how you have molded yourself to be in that place now. It isn’t entirely seamless and that’s the best part because effortlessness is a myth sabi ni mamshie Taylor.
