regarding the gel you had talked about, it only happens rarely i do my own gel nails and have gotten it on my skin and nothing has happened you can always still do gel jus be careful it takes practice but you won’t get that issue it usually only happens to people with sensitive skin
i’m sure it’s rare! it’s just becoming more and more common and i would rather be safe than sorry! i did my first gel press on set today and they turned out so good and look real! but less dangerous :)
Hey Kenna, i've been doing my own gel x nails at home and i haven't had any problems. They last sooo long too. You just have to make sure you get a good nail lamp and cure it for enough time. Love your new place btw ❤

If you’re wanting to do gel and steer away from acrylics, you should definitely try out biab! :) my nail tech helped me grow out my natural nails with the protection of the acrylics, and once they were long enough she switched me over to biab which is basically just like gel on your natural nail but it also helps it grow!! Super cool and a much cheaper alternative 🩷
