Dartmoor is a very special place. So much history with many locations unspoiled. Fascinating all year round, no matter the season.

This is great. It really fires the imagination. I spend a lot of time up on Dartmoor, and this little film inspires me to want to learn more about life through the ages up on the Moor. Thank you!

Awesome video guys! I am glad you could offer such a good incite into the lives of the people who lived up on the moor. I think I might have been volunteering in the museum at the time you were filming in it. Great work keep it up

Stayed at East Shallowford farm for a week, four or five years ago; the place is amazing and steeped in ancient history. These moors were created in the bronze age when acres upon acres of woodland were burnt down to clear space for farmland. It was in the bronze age that the most land was used in the country for agriculture and no other age has seen more soil go under the plough. I can imagine that during those times it would have been near impossible to travel the moors in the dead of night - my group and I almost got lost as the day faded quickly. To think how ancient and very superstitious minds would have viewed those moors and all the creatures and demons their imaginations may have conjured up whilst living out there.

Im a responsible drone operator and use to get great footage on Dartmoor since the blanket ban because of a few people i have since stopped my National Trust subscription until such times we are allowed back ,maybe a licence scheme within membership and with the right drone id's with the new legislation would be a good idea so we can all enjoy the National Parks.

This is great, I'm a decedent of Ælfric of Shapley and Skerraton (1066 AD). He was a thane to William the Conqueror. I love learning about how my ancestors lived. I would love to visit Dartmoor and the UK one day.

Hi Linda, I’ve only just spotted your message but it made my day! We loved meeting you and yours at the Triumph factory - what a fantastic place. You bikers are a welcoming bunch 🙂 No bike as yet, but you never know, it’s certainly on my wish list... So glad you enjoyed the film, thanks for getting in touch, all the very best, Emma

really interesting... slightly offputting 'hand action' and slightly disjointed and overpowering background music at every opportunity... but great otherwise

Fascinating, though spoilt a bit by the arrogant assumption that we all work in kilometers.
