As a 39 year old South African pan African man. I am so happy to see this. When i was in my 20s, the differences in culture were too glaring. With the internet, we are bridging the gap. The younger generation have their own subculture. Good job my girl

Why say so. These kids will still fit right. They know first and foremost they are Nigerians and where home is. Kudos to their parents they have not lost what makes them Nigerians. The spirit is still vibrating from the way they speak and mannerism. So rest.

They have acquired the SA accent doesn't dim the Nigerian spirit or make them less Nigerian. The way you treat non SA will forever make them not integrate. @@marony3529 I know two Yoruba ladies who were born in South Africa, they said they just don't fit in Nigeria anymore when they visit, They love living in South Africa. If these kids decide to leave and go to the UK or America , this will say a lot about Nigeria. Why would they rather go and live in the UK or USA & not back home ? What does that say about Nigeria ? If u want to go that route please think harder.

I think the problem about these youngsters is that they are speaking of their lived experiences and things that some of us South Africans do not want to admit. I'm in my 30's and shocked at the vast difference between us and the South African Gen-Zee's. Perhaps depending on where you grew up, the general climate was respect and being cordial. You can't do that with many of these kids now, okare it bothers them to acknowledge that not everyone is a peer. And it is really funny to witness the ignorance of some South Africans hoarding iup on artificial colonial borders like African countries sprung up the way they look now. If only you knew how we looked before they cut us up only to stitch us up in all the wrong places. Many of you are despising your own brothers and sisters, yet many speak nothing of European foreigners who literally own this country. But anyway, ba tla re we talk too much. Just by the way, the Western belt of Africa holds royalty. Before artificial countries, there was Negroland. But then again, our amazing education system can never teach you history. This is a beautifully done video. These youngster's parents make me think of my own parent, even now there's things I wouldn't dare say or do because of my upbringing. Unfortunately now we have in the majority, a buddy-system parenting.
