i love this. i’m imagining the smell while you work. been thinking about how for most of human history the most things people made were probably textiles in one way or another. even a lot of peoples houses were mostly woven (wattle and daub). they divide time like stone age, bronze age or iron age, but textile age might cover all of those together. and i guess since it decomposes eventually it’s especially important to learn and teach and play with the skills, that’s how to keep them present.
