Former State Minister for Privatisation Mathew Rukikaire says he started the struggle for a democratic Uganda back in his school days in the 1950s. For his struggle, Rukikaire exiled three times. In Living History, he narrates to Agness Nandutu how his home in Nairobi and the one in Makindye in Kampala were a safe haven for people struggling to liberate Uganda.

True, he was one of the pioneer students and 1st head boy of Ntare school when it was founded in 1956 by Scottish Educationist William Chrichton who became their founding headmaster. So it's true he was taught by the whites from UK.

@@ronaldnsheka6814 it is sad because what about the generation of inter tribal marriages? I would even argue that if today they were made a separate tribe they would be the biggest tribe in uganda.
