What percentage of the NYC populace make that kind of money? 1%? 2%? No wonder there are so many unoccupied apartments in NYC! So glad I moved to Florida, the best place on Earth.

Cheaper apartments equals lower broker’s fee. Most of those apartments are probably who you know any way.

If you need something cheap don’t live in NYC, when I lived in NYC the cheapest rent I found was 3800 divided by 2 people because I had a roommate. So it was 1900 a month. Queens is decent though, when I had 2 roommates we found a place for 750 each, and it was an entire house. I currently own a home that I pay 670 a month for, 3 beds 1.5 baths and guess what, I can sell it whenever I want. Apartments are just burning money, buying a home is an investment because you can sell it later. Apartment is just burning money. I can’t believe I paid thousands of dollars to share a wall with other people.
