Your state or the federal government. You can only live like that for so long. It catches up to the person. Just imagine the trouble she would be in without a vehicle.

People don't realize how difficult it is for a woman to live in a car and not have access to bathrooms or the things they need. New Jersey is a terrible state. You know sometimes it is very inconvenient if you have to go and in those conditions it is absolutely miserable. For a brief period of my life I lived in a foster home, the foster parents were great but they were unable to properly watch all the kids in their care and it opened the door for abuse by the other kids. I'm so glad I was only in that environment for a brief period of time.

I don’t know how many kids were in the home you were at… it’s based on how many bedrooms and the size of the rooms. Also, only girls in one room and boys in the other. Most of the time we had sibling groups. Ages newborn to 10 We did have 1 , 16 year old boy who we were lied to about his situation. He was only with us a few months. I felt threatened by him and I begged our licensing agent not to put him into another foster home. He needed specialized care. I didn’t want him to hurt other children or other foster parents. Sorry about your bad experience. I also knew a lot of other great foster parents.

Animals will fare better in these situations if they were donated to a shelter. Many owners let their pets run astray because they're being realistic, but know some shelters will euthanize the animal anyway. If the owner can not take care of themselves properly, how can they care for a pet? I never do get why people sleep in cramped vehicles with big dogs.
