The hotdog looked yummy. I loved everything on it. Usually if I know there is something on it that will make the bread soggy, I ask them to put it on the side. I then put the item on it myself when I get ready to eat it.

I have a friend from Chicago who passed earlier this year, and he always raved about the Italian Beef. I’ve not had one yet, never been to Chicago, but I’ll take and share his recommendation-have one and let us know how it is. There is a Chicago chain called Portillo's. The company just went public and is opening restaurants all over. You can get a Chicago dog, Polish sausage and Italian beef sandwich there. Check and see if you have one in your town. Also some cities have Chicago style restaurants. I live in Los Angeles there are several Chicago style restaurants in So. Cal.
@@toniwilliams4343 There is a Portillo's in Buena Park and a Mustards in Los Alamitos. You can do a YELP search for Chicago Italian beef and some additional places will come up. Some definitely do not have it. I think I had one at East Side Deli near Chinatown.

Anthony l love your hotel suite, Classy! The last time l was in the Windy City was 2007, and l walked all over the City without fear. I also did the Boat tour, Sears tower, Chrysler building, Navy Pier, and Fieleens Basement! We took in a White Socks game. Ate Chi town hotdogs with everything! And I had the best Pizza ever at Oprah's favorite Pizza house. Forgot the name ,but l believe it was on Michigan Ave. The beef in the Midwest has such a delicious taste ! What a great time you are having on your Amazing Road trip, l wish you nothing but Sunshine and Blue sky's Anthony, stay enthused about life my friend , you only live once!!!! 💕💯👍

Thank you for showing the softer side of our city, Chicago gets such a bad rap that people often forget about the city’s history and beautiful architecture. P.S. I’m a Chicago resident (born and raised) and had never liked the Chicago hotdog with all that stuff on there until the day that I actually worked at Portillo’s. It’s kind an acquired taste 💯

You're bringing back fond memories for me. I grew up about 45 mins from Chicago, in IN. Our school field trips were always to attractions in Chicago like the Brookfield Zoo. I love Chicago-style dogs but I never get all of the fixins..like you, it's a bit much for me. Enjoy!

Thank you for taking us with you in Chicago, Anthony. It meant a lot to me as I can't go and do as I used to anymore. Had a friend who lived in Chicago. He didn't even bother having a car, just walked or took public transportation everywhere he needed to go. I can't use chop sticks either. And the hot dog was too loaded for me as well. Can't imagine lettuce and tomato on a hot dog! Would like to see their deep dish pizza, but understand you don't care for it much. Zoos aren't so bad with cages anymore, the animals have more room to roam about as the please, thank goodness. Don't forget to learn to enjoy the things you are learning... how to use the room "key" in the elevator, how to hang onto your parking tickets (Even though you don't really need them.), the traffic, etc. The traffic just slows everything down where you can see it up close. If you ever go back to Chicago, just think of all you have learned! Less stuff on weiners, no fridges and microwaves in fancy hotel rooms, you now know how to use your room "key" in the elevator to make it go (And we have learned how to through you!) and you may not want to take your car into the city next time, who knows! May we all be happy and content with the little things like you, Anthony!

I have utmost respect for people who do this, like Anthony, and still work a good job... The way he has everything set up is perfect for a single person... And you can enjoy the fruits of your labor without having to give it all away to rent. It's getting VERY bad in the rental market... More and more people will be doing what he's doing.
