Hey FOA. Today is my first time baking a complete meal in my mini oven. Oven bake chicken, broccoli with brown rice. Life With Anthony P.O. Box 1204 Morrisville PA 19067
Regardless of what you're cooking, doesn't it just taste better outside in the fresh air? 🙂 Again....that spot you have is great; love the sound of birds chirping, so restful. Dinner looks good, you'll have folks in the park salivating, smelling it. Enjoy the rest of your day, Mr. Wowzer 😁 tip: use the back side of your knife to scrape food off the cutting board--keeps your blade sharp
The happiness on this man’s face, at just a simple home cooked meal. How can you not love this lol. I bet it’s absolutely delicious Anthony. Me and my husband both love a good comfort meal like this
Hi Anthony. If you season your thighs and allow to marinade, you will use less seasoning on your meat because the seasoning goes through the meat when marinaded. You won't need so much seasoning in your gravy because your meat is well seasoned. I'm sure that your mealwill be a wowzer though. Another tip, if you season your meat with your favorite seasonings before you freeze it it is even better.
That looked delicious! Here's a tip for brown rice: Let it soak for 15 - 20 minutes before you start cooking it. It will cook more evenly and be more tender. Also, check the directions on your rice cooker - it may suggest different measurements for rice to water ratio.
Hey Anthony, food looks delicious. Do you ever invite others to share a meal with you from the campground. You may want to get a thermometer for your meat to take the guess work out of its done.
Hi Anthony, brown rice is much healthier than white rice. Glad to see you rinsed it before you put it in the steamer. Thank you for sharing, enjoy and take care. 🙏🏾
It is well documented that brown rice is more nutritious due to less processing than white rice. White rice has less arsenic due to the way it is processed. So if you do not eat brown rice several times a week you do not have to worry about arsenic. Since Anthony does not eat brown rice does not even know if he likes it, I do not see that he needs to worry about brown rice having a little more arsenic than white rice. He rinsed his rice which helps and there are a couple more things that he can do should he decide to make brown rice a big part of his diet. I think that is unlikely since he loves white rice.😢
He should have rinsed off his vegetable(bell pepper). He took it straight out of the bag and start cutting. I'm sure he wasn't the only one touched it at the grocery store😕
@@sweetpea1596I agree, they tell you all the time on TV to to always wash your vegetables and fruit. I always do and even with a little bit of dish soap. Gotta get the junk off stuff like this. To eat any of these veggies and fruit before cooking or baking with them makes me sick to my stomach.
That looks good Anthony. I have a little tip for you. Instead of using paper towels, use wax paper. The wax paper will protect your cutting surface, so you won't have to do a lot of disinfecting. If want to use paper towels to absorb the extra moisture, use a layer on top of the wax paper. My mom used wax paper a lot when I was a kid. She would wrap our lunch sandwiches in it, use it as a cover for bowls, etc. I find myself using wax paper more than plastic wrap nowadays.
@@TGRAM7 I found that if you want to make deli sandwiches at home, you need the wax paper to wrap them up tightly. Plastic wrap works but holds in the moisture too well and makes the sandwich soggy.
Anthony, Brown rice takes a 1:2 ratio of twice as much water as rice + a quarter cup extra water. So, if you're cooking 1 cup rice, it's 2 1/4 cups water, 2 cups rice would take 4 1/4 cups water. It makes the rice A LOT more palatable.
Hi, Anthony! You didn't say whether you enjoyed the rice or not, but brown rice is a good choice. Your food looked delicious! I love your dining setup as well...very nice! Be safe! Peace and Blessings !🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Anthony you are really making a casserole dish for real. Anytime you add more than one ingredient to a baking dish, it's a casserole. I make lots of them for my fam, Easy and delish. Trust the process with the brown rice in the rice cooker. Anthony, I'm so making this dish for sure. You should post pics of your Wowzzer dishes😀. When you took your dish out the oven and showed us , this would've been a great TIK TOK💯. Next time. Good job
Anthony so much salt...in the soup in the onion packet in the blend mix and in the broth all are loaded with salt you got to do better watching your salt intake. Love ya
I find that that onion soup mix have enough seasoning to whatever I am putting it on. I typically don’t need to add additional season. But it looks delicious. I am sure it was flavorful!
Anthony, that food looks good! I'll have to try that recipe. Looks like a good winter holiday meal if you're tired of Turkey. Blessings and safe travels.❤
Dinner always looks 👍. Anthony try boiling your 🫑 for a few minutes before you stuffed, it will soften them and they will become even more tender during the baking time.
Hi Anthony, It’s not that you’re too short the problem is you’re unorganized you need to put your seasoning and spoons etc down lower and put the basket with the groceries up too. I’m just saying make it easy for yourself. Did you wash that chicken?
Hi Anthony, dinner looks great. And I’m glad you decided to try the brown rice. It’s a much healthier alternative than white rice. It does take a little longer to cook and has a bit different flavor. But if you eat it often enough you will probably get used to it.
Anthony try seasoning them before you put them in freezer bags if you’re cooking them that day just season them all and put the leftover in freezer bags. That way they have had time to marinate. just a suggestion.
Your to cute Anthony. Oh man I wished I jumped through this video and grab me plate. Looks so delicious. 👍🏼Have a blessed day Anthony God bless and keep cool and be safe ✌️😎From Denver co
Hey Anthony I have a suggestion for you when you use your oven and the temperature starts to rise higher then you want it... Just lift up one of the sides of that cover you have over it and ill drop right back down...you can also have a little of the sides showing(just a small side) and it will keep the temperature under control for you
Hey Anthony I tried this recipe.!!!!🙂 I omitted the Paprika, Parsley and I added more water instead of using Chicken Broth. Also, I used white rice. It still turned out to be a WOWZER.!!!🙂♥️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
Anthony, is there a stone plate in your oven? If so, that might be what's causing the temperature to rise so much. Try removing it so see if that makes a difference. Your chicken looked AMAZING!! 😋
You've really opened my mind to chicken thighs lol. I didnt like them at first but when you made that one meal with the chicken thighs and potatoes, i was tempted to try it myself. It turned out really good and now I like chicken thighs lol, so,thank you!
Hello Anthony thanks for sharing, the meal looks delicious and I’m going to try it, have a safe and blessed day, much love peace and blessings to you and the FOA squad 🙏🏽❤️😇
Are you getting low on butane yet 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣JKJK lol. I love you're wearing the shirt I got you on your New intro, made me smile 😊😊❤️. Alice loved your new video as always lol🙂🙂
Happy Thursday FOA and Anthony. Anthony your chicken bake looked so good I decided to try it. So last night for dinner and I gave it a try.(I didn’t have thighs so I used breast but same ingredients). My take on it? WOWZERS!!! I will be having this again. Thanks for sharing 👍🏽👍🏽
That chicken is going to be well seasoned. If you're concerned about contaminating your cutting board line your CB with aluminum foil, plastic wrap or butcher paper. Can't wait to see the outcome.
I am happy you are cooking your favorite chicken thighs. I only like them when my grandmother used to make them. I like the chicken wing and drumstick and maybe a chicken breast if it is really tender so my missing teeth can chew it 😂. I look forward to seeing your videos because I know I am in for a good time🎉 keep on living your life !
Do you always store your eggs in refrigerated? The U.S. chickens aren’t vaccinated for salmonella like they are across the pond, so that’s why I always thought we had to refrigerate them. But if it’s safe to keep out, I sure could use the fridge space in the RV for other perishable food. 👀
You should put a sign on your windshield so guys know when you are filming. Something like "QUIET on the SET" so they know not to walk up. Get some poster board. And markers.
Nice intro. Like when u cook. Everyone has there own style & method. If u enjoy it, great! We all get tips( at least I do) when I watch others. I don’t mind
You did a good job on preparing the meal. I am gonna try to cook it. I have the vintage white with blue what at flowers casserole dishes . I love how they Cook.
