Inflation hits people a lot harder than a crashing stock or housing market as it directly affects people's cost of living that people immediately feel the impact of. It's not surprising negative market sentiment is so high now. We really need help to survive in this Economy. The fin-Market;s have underperformed the U.S. economy as fear of inflation hammers the prices of stock;s and bonds. My portfoliio of $250k is down to $192k any recommendation;s to scale up my return;s during this crash will be highly appreciated.

@@judsonjarred772 I agree, my proffit have been quite consistent, regardless of market situation, I got in early 2019 and the constant downtrends and losses discouraged me so I sold off, got back in Dec 2020 this time with guidance from a portfolio-adviser. I found her on a CNBC interview where she was featured and reached out to her afterwards. long story short, its been two years now and I’ve gained over $850k following guidance from my inveestment adviser.

I've caught a number of her vlogs on youtube. She's got a great personality. The apartment is pretty nice for Paris. People who live in Paris often live in such gross conditions that they are too self-conscious to let you enter their units.

Average price for a basement studio in Toronto is 2000 dollars, 1300 is an amazing price for a one bedroom above ground.

It’s so cheap! I just realized she is talking in dollars, her place is only €1175! In my city of Amsterdam you would pay atleast €1400 for that. Which is $1548

This lady is EXTRAORDINARILY blessed to find an apartment for 1100 euro in Paris. The most affordable one I found was 2200 Euro in the 8th. Her nails are also extraordinarily nice.

the only issue i have with real estate in paris is that it has the highest number of non use 2nd homes causing insane renting prices. Its worse than new york.

Even if you filled all of the empty homes, the demand would still be insatiable. There are just too many people who want to live in the desirable parts of Paris and not enough apartments for all of them. There are lots of zoning laws that seek to preserve the character of the city instead of allowing more units to be built, which I understand since Paris is so beautiful. But it's a big tradeoff. Compare that with places like Seoul or Tokyo, where land rights are strong and developers can build tons of housing units to meet demand and keep rent prices stable. The tradeoff there is that you end up with quirky buildings and strangely shaped apartments. That produces a different kind of beauty.

Nice apartment at a very good price. It has only one disadvantage: a missing elevator. You would pay the same amount for a furnished apartment in Munich, Berlin or Frankfurt/Main. Thank you for sharing!🎉

I'd say it's pretty expensive for Paris' 18 region, especially for a 5th floor one. At least nice she's got the furniture, as getting someone from leboncoin help you move up 5 stairs would be a fun struggle. By move-in time, seems like the american "french parisian charm" has faded away and if she enjoys the apartment, that's great. Learning the language (or at least how to pronounce landmarks and basic daily things) would be a good next step. Good luck!

As her northern neighbor, I pay about $75 a month in my one bedroom. It may only be a one bedroom, but all of the major appliances that require electricity are all here. If it a a three bedroom, paying for led lights in the other two bedrooms wouldn’t cost much extra, for example.

I don't know about her experience but regarding my own experience, here's what happens in Paris : You read the ads about an apartment on a website and you call the agency right away. Most of the time agencies in Paris "pre-select" applicants on the phone based on some informations (salary, type of work contract..) and if you don't meet the criteria, they tell you straight away and you can't even visit. So if you'visit the appartment, it means that you're one of the lucky. Maybe this is why I never saw a 1,5 km-queue in Paris

But it’s Paris… a walk up isn’t uncommon. Having a building with an elevator is a luxury. Little old ladies make their way up and down these kind of stairs daily.

Nigeria is actually expensive to live in. Yeah, rent is cheap but prices of everything just keeps on increasing. I live in Dallas and pay $900 a month for a spacious one bedroom 😅

This place is really cute and at least decently furnished compared to the majority of expensive shitholes available. Although it's still rather expensive for the 18e arrt (I'm guessing she lives in the good part of the 18e around Jules Joffrin or Lamarck though, which is expensive but at least safe), no elevator and it's a furnished rental so the owner gets massive tax reductions which of course they rarely repercutate on the rent price. Paris has become impossible to live in unfortunately passed a certain age: for a student or a single young worker it works but once you want to live a little bit more decently and not get overly ecstatic about a regular sized fridge, well.. You're fcked.

how is the only paying 1.300 usd a month in the middle of Paris? wtf? can someone here confirm to me that Paris is that cheap? + hers is fully furnished! I live in Copenhagen with my parents and we have to pay double than what she pays + we have to buy our own furniture :(, it comes with 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, living room + kitchen + dining area in one big area and it's 95 square meters with a balcony. I converted her 320 square foot to meters which is only 29 square meters but still not bad for someone like herself paying that cheap for being in a really good location.

That a large Paris apt especially for that price. I would decorate it in beautiful bright colors, that grey is so depressing but other than that, it's very nice.
