@@tpain7019 I used to be staff for a rust youtuber, one thing they all do is creating a side server where they rebuild the base the best they can based on the video and bring in sub to record cinematic and plane views but it’s after the wipe :)
“You arn’t allowed to spawn in this base since they kicked you from the group” Well then they should 1.break all my beds 2. Change base codes after they get leaked in proximity chat 3. Make sure the people they invite to the group IS actually someone on the team
1. out of the 20+ beds in base? 2. yeah, but the server this was taken on, code raiding is against the rules 3. these groups are over the UI limit (12-14 typically) and judging by if someone is in the base with turrets on and shotgun traps not shooting them, you too would probably think their on your team
@@purplcs 1. 20+ beds is a them problem. It may be a lot of beds but theres also a lot of players available to break the beds. 2. Code raiding has nothing to do with this. the code was leaked, he didn’t run up to the door to guess everything from 0000 to 9999 3. if they can’t handle being able to impose a way to check to make sure everyone is on the team, if not one person out of the 12-14 is capable of having a list on their computer then perhaps they need to realize they can’t support a 12-14 player team
@@Si-hz5tw EXACTLY. its all fine and dandy if you wanna make a big team, but if your gonna make a single large TEAM team as opposed to an alliance OF smaller teams then you should be able to tell who is and isn’t on it. Rust is a game of risk and reward, and having to big of a team is in it of itself a risk. this admin removing that risk the way he did is truly admin abuse to the fullest

Like if he went and joined them in discord and played with them only to betray them later is understandable. But if he changed his name and some kid spilled the password I don't see reason of ban.

I like the vid, but i just feel there was way more potential than just stashing their loot in a rinky dink 2x2 nextdoor, likely the ONLY base nearby that they CERTAINLY wouldve seen. again, i still like the idea, but it feels disingenuous. I like aloneintokyo's approach to insiding those big disorganized groups, maybe try to do that next time as well!
I don’t get the point if you’re not using the stuff tho. Like it’s be hilarious if you put up auto turrets using their stuff in there base so they couldn’t get it or something. Or maybe play with them for a wipe then tell them at the end.

when I inside groups I always transfer loot to outside tcs another one I did the other day was make a bag inside of a square honeycomb snuck drop boxes and then started leeching loot inside of honeycomb to a box with a horse then when room was bursting I started cleaning them out in the wee hours of the morning. If you do not kill anyone or set off shotgun traps no one notices until you take a whole hoard of stuff , like low grade , when people cant make meds thats when they start taking inventory.
Honestly this is funny and is good for context but Ino if I was in this position I’d take the chance to be in a big group for a wipe and see what it’s like to be in a successful zerg
THE FINISHER SHOULD HAVE BEEN RESETING TC, AND RESETTING ALL TURRET AUTHS, then you could have freely changed every code and their own defences would be there to stop them to be threatened to be banned though is pretty fucked,
