Thank you. That means a lot to us to hear you say that. We laugh and joke around a lot but what you see here is how we are all the time. You never know how that comes across in the videos and it helps us to know that at least for you it’s a positive thing. We do stress about things sometimes. This easy going travel can be not so easy as things fill up here in Florida. But we keep finding gems and keep being flexible and keep laughing. That’s life for us. We found each other late in life and our goal is to make the most of each day together. We appreciate you being part of our RU-vid family as we continue on.

That is so nice to say. We will add a show and tell of the kitchen area soon. If you love and like each other you can make a B work and when it works it really shines. Lynn just pointed out today as we stopped st shop after shop on the way down to Key West that we don’t even think about where we go anymore and don’t worry about the parking. We do miss having a dry bath and at least a queen bed but the good things far outweigh those few things.

You were the main one asking so we are glad you liked it. I agree that we need to show more of the day to day stuff. What do we carry with us? Well I can say we just shipped about 50lbs of stuff back home that we didn’t really need to bring in the first place. The screen from fits on the roof most of the time. It also will fit right beside the bed when we know we are using it the same day. When we know we are doing many single or two say legs we will put it up on the roof. Love the room. Thanks for being so supportive of the channel.

We will add that to the list of videos to make. 😀. The Instant pot actually fits in the cabinet beside the entertainment area. We have a 3 qt version. If you turn it just right it will last in its side and still leave room for other things in the cabinet.

Thanks for the suggestion but I don’t really consider myself a very good cook. Cooking in the van is a lot different than cooking at home but I’m getting used to it.

Yes that is one of my songs and was me singing. That’s what I did before deciding to travel and see the world in our Travato.

Don’t know about easy HAHA. But we do have it worked out for us. Each couple has to work out their own routine and know what works. Only one can cook at a time so the other one stays clear and out of the way as much as possible. It works kind of like a van dance. We love leftovers in the van, either cooked or from a restaurant. When we eat out we don’t order small portions on purpose so we’ll have leftovers and that saves money and really gives you something to look forward to when hunger strikes. Thank you! Make sure we know you are coming and we’ll put cds in the van. Not something we travel with since space is limited. The Old Shoes has a really cool story. I’ve been known to write songs pretty easily. One of my music buddies joked while we were having lunch that for all he knew I could probably write a song about my shoes that would be good. So I took him up on it and wrote one. I used the symbolism that as an old guy I hang on to my closest friends like someone hangs on to comfortable shoes. :-)

Forgot to say we are very flexible with number of days stayed. Most are 2-4 nights at each park. Really hard to find 7-14 days anywhere here in Florida last minute.

VAN TREKKING lifestyle thanks for the info. Yes, I would expect as you get further south things are even more booked up. We plan on getting our Travato this summer and will be in Florida next January and February. We have a cruise in Fort Lauderdale, and after that travel around. So far I made 1 reservation at a State Park in Jupiter area. I was on line at 8am on the first day/time they allow reservations, and they were all booked up within a couple minutes. Also made reservations at the Disney Campground for a few days. I suspect we may just boondock a number of nights, possibly just by some apartment complexes.

When we get back one of the videos we will do is all the places we stayed. Maybe that will help.

Might do a playlist episode. That’s s great idea. Snow will melt. We have learned to be careful what you ask for. Overshot 70 to 90 degree weather. Was over 89 when we woke this morning. Going to have to head north quickly now :-)

Yes, they are called Kidde Smoke Alarm Dust and Paint Covers. We have been grounded because of cold weather but as soon as we hit the road again I am going to give them a try. My pup does not like alarms at all. I am guessing Maggie feels the same.
