The greatest thing African Americans will experience is the feeling of freedom in Africa being a black person, no one will single you out for anything about your skin and history of ancestors isn't looming over you, you will have to survive with little less than in the US and you are free to open up as big as you wish or can no one will destroy it
@@startupsitynewswhynotshow7836 you are right you won’t get singled out for your skin color ! But if you’re a women depending on which region in Africa you will have no civil rights, if you’re LGBTQ you will be murder on the spot/placed in jail, if you’re handicap you will have no rights!! In Africa tribalism is there racism!! That’s why there are some many conflicts to this very day especially in Nigeria, Cameroon, DRC, Ethiopia, etc
When I was in Tanzania and Kenya I didn't press being AmeriKKKan too much. I had ppl who hosted me and tried to immerse myself into the culture as much as possible. I left AmeriKKKa for a reason. 😊
@@linjicakonikon7666 boo hoo your comment offended me soooooo much #sarcasm. Youre a moron. Yeah Im staying there and LOVING it. You mad about it??? I certainly pray and hope so. Haha. Wewe ni mjinga sanaaaaaaa!
Is it safe for African Americans to move there? What country is best? Andrew Young went there many times and talked about how peaceful it was. There's now a movement of blacks moving to Africa to start fresh without having to fight racism all the time like they do here in the US and they're finding out that it's incredible, like they were made to be there.
@@namuganyidamalie4594 The more people that come into the area, the more opportunities there are. More restaurants are needed, more furniture, more movers, more bicycles, everything. And the people who immigrate there from the USA are bringing their money with them so the whole areas grows and prospers. The movement has begun and will pick up speed as more black Americans are done with racism.
@@terry7893 if you want to succeed here think of how you can move your business or work your job remotely because you need an income and there aren't many jobs. Next adopt to the culture we're proud of the way we do things so none of that " but, in America we do this and that".
@@terry7893 I've been done with racism, but no where near financially able to make a move to an African country, would absolutely love to though, I'm sure poor blacks from US are not encouraged nor welcomed to immigrate to Africa.
@@LuvLiiez You don't have a few thousand dollars saved up for airfare? You could cut lawns and make that much in just one summer. Go get a job so you can earn some money. Research where you want to go. Buy a ticket to fly there. Roam around for a month or so until you find a town you want to stay in and file the papers to be a citizen there.
I can’t feel that way anywhere . Im Dominican and Mexican. I have African , European , Native American , and Taino roots, mostly African and indigenous (native and Taino) but at the end of the day I’m still not fully anything
@@godismysavior6428 if where talking purely symbolically I'd say ur the end result of what a lot of Americans (both continents) might identify as 200 to 300 years from now ( personally I think the Americas are going to become so mixed that everybody just starts identifying not by there ancestral lineage but by the new cultures are old cultures by that time that they've built here in the Americas) in a way uv got a head start 🤷🏾♂️
Let me tell you!..Africa has much love for our pple who got stolen from us to the US..400yrs are over come back home..Africa will realize its full potential if its sons and daughters are back.
Thanks for the video. Interesting that you didn't mention anything about language. That's very important regarding culture. That's some good info to share.
Thank you for your input I'll be moving out there to Africa I have to figure out what country I want to move to maybe in the next couple of days from now all your input and stuff I did has changed in the last 15 years so I will be glad to see how it has changed and what property you have thank you
Eddie, I’ve seen lots of africans say we as african americans aren’t african, they call us black american. And that’s because they feel as if we’re not them and we’re nothing to them. They even talk about their success with going to america but don’t acknowledge that us african americans had to go through the pains just for immigrants to be able to go to america and be successful
@@sirorlandoruddock African americans are descendants of enslaved africans. The term african american is an umbrella term because some of us don’t know which part of africa we’re from yet. When native africans come to america they’re african americans as well but you call them by which ever part of africa they’re from like an african from ethiopia will be considered an Ethiopian American. We’re all uniting once again and lots of us are good people who are coming back home. Peace (positive energy creates elevation) I love you my brother/sister
@@XXX-ir4iq no cap. I’m an African American (well I have Nigerian ancestry) but I got love for Africans, Caribbeans, Black Latinos, Black Europeans etc
Hey I know you may be on a budget but let me make a suggestion for your channel. Try to make videos ( the content you make is great dont get me wrong) with tasting street food, strange foods and stuff that people have not tried . Just a suggestion . That will open up more audience. You allready travel the world so might as well. I know you survive off your vids. Good luck.👍🏼
You have a great topic. Thank you for the information. I've often wondered, though, about living in Africa; however, I am concerned, as an independent woman in a conservative culture, how I might fit in... I found myself wanting to stop watching and taking breaks several times. The drawback and loss of your messages are based on a few factors; please try using a prompter. This prevents your viewers from losing their attention and constantly using filler words like "Ugh, Like, stuttering, etc." Body mechanics include eye-rolling or looking off in other directions and a lot of hand movements. Finally, the technical piece lighting shadows. What is the point of your work informational or to draw attention to yourself? I'm hoping you take this as constructive mentoring. We learn by listening to those who are willing to share the truth. My purpose is to help you with growth. Again, I strongly believe in your chosen material and look forward to watching more of your work. I PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, and PLEASE CONTINUE. I took away from my studies and business and came across your RU-vid. I DO VERY LITTLE ON RU-vid OR ANY PLATFORM, NOT BECAUSE I'M NOT FAMILIAR. Bravo, my brother BRAVO PLEASE KEEP THE INFORMATION FLOWING.
Shalawaam Eddie, hope everything is going good for you as i know last time it wasnt and no that if im not commenting on the vids im still watching them, sometimes i edit alot of my photography and video work so i dont get a chance to comment but i still watch them and they are amazing, you have a very interesting lifestyle, not only that, i still watch your old ones you made on skid row, your still a huge inspiration and i love your vids too :) (AA Photography)

Shalom and Yah bless this was somewhat insightful I wish you could’ve been a lil more specific on some of the topics you bought up instead of just saying it depends on which country you go to what’s your experiences
Architecture is dead-similar to indonesia, it's amazing 😁 we also put tiles halfway up walls, we also steel-bar our windows, decorate with motifs and patterns, and we also love to profile our ceilings, doors and window sills because we think it makes our home look more expensive (when actually it makes it look outdated)

@@nleddie I want to see so many places. Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Egypt, the Ivory Coast and Zanzibar. I don't know where I should go first but I have to visit.
I really wanna move somewhere in Africa when Im older because I dont like what the west is becoming and Africa is just so beautiful, and their nature is amazing I just feel like I wouldn't belong since I am not african.
That is very possible. As the world superpowers become more based in the Eastern world (Asia, Middle East and Africa) and the West falls and declines day by day the opportunity to live in an African nation of your choice with a lifestyle you are accustomed to which is much safer and good for your mental health (no racism) is now possible compared to the past when the only media most Americans were shown about Africa was CNN “feed the children” to continue the agenda. Many wise African prophets in the 80s said black Americans will relocate to Africa in numbers and become the leaders of Africa because of the knowledge they have of the snake system of the Western world. At that time many thought they were just saying things but just like that everyone from the Western world of all races is now interested in living in the Middle East and Africa more than ever before in history.

So wait… you mean to tell us that the people in Africa are pre-judging African Americans…. Based off of stereotypes or preconceived notions from what they see on social media or music videos? I hate to say it, but then isn’t there something more we should be doing to show Africa that Americans aren’t all thugs, gang bangers, etc? We all know that stereotypes are extremely hurtful and untrue… time to demand better from the music artists we support with our $$$$
What are those water tanks I see on top of every house on that continent? Tell me about the plumbing, water treatment, and drinking water pumping stations?
Instead of saying it depends on which country you are in ,in Africa. Talk about the current country you are in and your experience. I feel like you are reciting stuff I could search. I came here to hear about your experience. Just a tip
I wound what it would be like if you didn’t have the US dollar . If an African American 🇺🇸 had to work to survive in Africa. Great video thanks for sharing!
Great video much appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. However, I would like to pose a question?? if Africa is such a great place to live why are so many African citizens coming to the US both legally and illegally? Just trying to see both sides. Thanks
Black People, I did not say Black people who call themselves African American contributed a great much to building America. You going to leave that great legacy we Black people created and move to Tanzania and Kenya. Man up and get your piece of the American Pie. Black people expect and demand it and no one is going to take it away from Black people. Don't let anyone scare you away from that great legacy of us Black people. We died fighting for American in the military and contributed to building America.
I've been to Kenya 4 times. This brother has never shopped at Tusky's supermarkets in Kenya where the prices are significantly higher than grocery shopping here state side at Walmart. Yes housing is cheaper but that's about it. As far as race is concerned he is American to Kenyans. Although I have heard Kenyan academics tell me "America will never elect a "slave" for president". This was post Obama who as we know wasn't descended from slaves.
I looked this video up on a study to help people realize the pros and cons of our history together. Do you think you would have a better experience in Africa if youv never been to America. Do you think that if more African traditions took place in American that people world feel more welcome as a African American. I personally feel that Africans where taken from thare traditions and newer traditions have taken over instead of restoring original traditions making you feel less at home. What do you think ?
I do plan to visit Africa. My only prob's wud most likely be the heat and all the flies. Every video I've ever seen, even this one, shows lots and lots of flies that land on you and bite, and I absolutely cannot deal with flies! I'm sure it wud be transforming, but maybe I shud just deal with the Caribbean. I'm nervous just thinking about the heat and the flies!
@@nleddie Right on. man. I think what you're doin' is badass! Want to do this in Thailand ( during cooler months) or Portugal when I hv a few months freed up. Be safe.
Residence and citizeship laws vary from nation to nation, and also the rules for a foreign to acquire land. Make sure you deeply investigate the law in your country of choice to avoid disappointments later on.
just wanna say your beard nothing bad just advice, i noticed it if you have the style shave under the chin. it it goes past your jaw it stands out a ton. again nothing bad but as a guy who sees alot of beards shave under the chin if going small before going on camera it stands out alot when you turn your head. other than that awesome video love it bud
What I hear when I say I'm moving to Africa, I hear" African don't like us." I say so what black folk in America don't like you. So now what's your next excuse.
Well depends on how you look at it. Blacks in America don't control nor own anything in America thus a hating black man is essentially powerless over you. A hating African in a African country does hold power and can make life very difficult
Zanzibar is part of Tanzania although it has some degrees of authonomy. The Arab rulers were put out long time ago, so don't worry: it's a black man land although the population is much more mixed than in other parts of the continent.

okay....America is NOT a nationality its a land-country it's named after a white man Amerigo Vespucci here's the link en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amerigo_Vespucci and also Africa is also named after another so called white man Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus was a Roman general and statesman, most notable as one of the main architects of Rome's victory against Carthage in the Second Punic War. Often regarded as one of the best military commanders and strategists of all time, his greatest military achievement was the defeat of Hannibal at the Battle of Zama in 202 BC. This victory in Africa earned him the epithet Africanus......So my dear so called Black ppl wake up we're NOT NAMED AFTER 2 WHITE MEN....We have our own NATIONALITY....for these so called white man has hidden us deep in their darkness from keeping us knowing who we really are in OUR OWN GOD'S EYES......This so call AA in the north country are THE REAL JUDAH ISRAELITES!!! America don't want you to know that because they know they will lose their power over us....SHALAWAM!!! APTTMH---Signing out a Proud JUDAH
If your an African American man who comes to Africa with a white American woman would you get hate on by the Africans or are they cool with interracial marriage?
We are Israelites, not Africans. WE are Shem, Africans are Ham. We are not their people. Israelites better turn to The Most High and wake up time is almost up
